When Peter left the restraunt after talking to Harry:
Waitress: How's the pie?
Harry: *smiles* So good...

If this was a sexual joke, I missed it. I got all the other ones in the movie but not this. It got big laughs from the theater.

So what does this mean?

I think for that particular line Harry was using the pie as a metaphor for his revenge. I could be way off though.

That was hilarious, Harry was awesome in this scene... I think the scene was meant to mean what you wanted it to mean....

He was enjoying the sweet taste of revenge and screwing with Parker's head. And it was funny. I honestly think that scene to the jazz club is the strongest portion of the movie.

the audience i went with didnt laugh at that part

The audience laughed at Harry for saying that cause he sounded so pimp.

This is the most badass thing Harry says in any of the three movies.

yeah it was really funny and I agree with DopeNose for what it meant.

its like the new "I kid you not" I thought it was hilarious, loved the cocky "Franco smile" in this movie. I was watching the movie "Whatever it takes" yesterday and he did the "wink and smile" in that one too.

Harry was such a pimp throughout the movie. That was one of the best lines he had. I took it as a metaphor for revenge. I really liked evil Harry in the film. James Franco was awesome in this movie.

If it was sexual, then it's an American Pie reference.. Don't know what I'm talking about? Rent the movie.

Agreed. Franco was great and for me the highlight of the movie. The pie was not a sexual reference, otherwise he would have made the comment while Peter was still there with him. The pie "tasted great" because he totally just pwn3d Peter and like DopeNose said, it was a metaphor for the sweet taste of revenge.

it wasnt a joke; or it wasnt ment to be anyway. It was just showing how harry loved screwing with pete's head. It had nothing to do with any sexual refrences. If you want it to be sexual, then pretend its sexual. But its not.

If I wrote it I'd have made him say, "I asked for pumpkin pie, this is not pumpkin pie." That would have worked the pumpkin's/pumpkin's bombs into it, but I didn't get the joke so who knows.

revenge is a dish best served cold , didn't the Waitress ask Harry if his pie was cold , or summtin like that , at least thats the way I took it

My audience didn't enjoy it either, it was a really uncomfortable ending to a scene. My audience didn't care for the dancing "the twist" scene. Somebody behind me yelled, "Are you serious!" I thought it should have cut out, I didn't care for Harry almost dies, THEN COMES BACK, then I think peter killed Harry, THEN HE COMES BACK WITH PART OF HIS FACE MESSED UP. NO LIMBS MISSING, COME ON!!

anybody ever heard of humble pie? Harry put peter in his place. simple as that.

i just laughed because of his stupid grin while he was saying it. i thought he was awesome in the movie!

I just loved the way he said the line. I could've just jumped in his lap, given him a kiss and I'm afraid I've gone too far already ;).

The reason I found it funny was James Franco's delivery, as well as the situation in which the line is delivered. There's also some subtle humor in the placement of the line in the script (coming almost immediately on the heels of Harry being a complete and total scumbag by breaking his best friend's heart).

and another awesome thing about that scene is when peter looks back through the window and harry smiles at him sinisterly and peter steps forward to go back in their and kick his a$$, and then harry is just gone after the split second the bus passes before peter...AWESOME!!!

This scene was my favorite part of the Movie and the only thing I really loved.

I think the reason why people in your theater laughed is because in America. Pie is sometimes used as a reference to a womens hoohaa or kittykat if you will.

Now I don't think it was intended to be about Harry banging MJ like he basically tells Pete he's been doing and throws in the "I've been eating her pie" reference. Although some people might have thought of that and laughed at the idea.

I honestly think it was more like others have said that basically "Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Cold."

Now that being said I don't think its laugh out loud funny in that context.

I was gitty and laughing just because in that whole scene Harry was diabolical I loved it. He totally crushed Peter by telling him, "Even tho Im your best friend, I'm banging your Fiance and love of your life." Then he just laughs and grins lol it was great.

It wasn't haha funny unless you were thinking of it as the first way I said it might have been interprated. That's just way too dirty for Raimi to do in a movie though.
