If I make a gamertag over at the xbox website and then buy a 360, will I be able to use that gamertag when I get my LIVE account?

To secure a name. I've already learned my lesson when it comes to domain name registration. I thought that I could take my precious time and someone ended up with the domain name I wanted.

It took me quite some time to get the name i wanted. Went through all iterations before i came out with IIII 47 IIII.
