Just to clarify, are people's problems, with LIVE in general, or just getting to connect at the Dashboard?

Getting onto Halo 3 matchmaking works fine, as well as any other online game. But the second I go into the Dashboard, I'm stuck at the (loading) rotating circle screen. This applies to all the blades.

I'm guessing this problem applies to people that have had their console set to go to the dashboard at start-up, instead of the game?

Mine is still connecting but only showing the circle thing in all the blades.It has been going on for me since the 30th or so.

Alright so I just got a new Xbox 360 and it comes with a free silver membership. Is there a code I still have to put in or is this whole xbox live problem the reason I can't play? The instructions said all I had to do was hook up the xbox and get my gamertag going and I'd be good to go.

I think their should be a code or something because Live is running, just finished playing some COD4.

Well I'm thinking (it has been awhile since I have done it) I think you just need to be go to the dashboard and click sign up for live or something like that.

Crap. Maybe it's not working because I've done the trial before when I got my first 360. I am using the same hard drive and gamertag.
