Kinda seems silly that Batman refused to kill the Joker when he was holding hundreds of people hostage on the boats, but ended up killing Two-Face over a single kid and Gordon.
Meh.
Yes...that's the tragedy of it. That's what brings Batman down to the Joker's level. That's why he chooses to make himself (even more so) the villain. What makes it even more tragic is that it wasn't necessary. Dent wasn't going to kill the kid, because, as we see after Bats tackles him, the coin landed face up.
I'd definitely like him to tone his voice down, but what I'd really kill for would be to see more detective work and Bruce using (what should be) his great intelligence, instead of relying on Lucius to always do the thinking for him. We got a couple hints of that in TDK, but it still wasn't nearly enough.
Uh, Bruce did do most of the detective work in the movie. Lucius didn't do all that much (comparatively).
