Agreed.larryfilmmaker said:that's just wrong. Nothing in SR is even remotely close to being as lame as giant mutant DOGS or Banner's dad turning into a giant wad of electricity.
No. I will not waste my money on the DVD of Superman Returns.kal-el2006 said:For the ones that hated/didnt like the movie/disappointed..my question is this..are you still buying the dvd when it comes out? if so..why? i'd like to see some discussion on this matter..![]()
Exactly.CGHulk said:Why would I buy a Superman movie where Superman is mean to his dog, and is a peeping tom and a trespasser. Lex's plan was terrible, why would anyone want to buy land on New Krytpton where there's nothing but black sharp rocks everywhere. The movie has no setup, who's this guy? For the rest of the film he hardly says a word. So no I won't be buying this movie on DVD.

dar-El said:God this is crazy we're arguing over a movie. Still i find it hard to believe he could lift what is essentially a giant piece of kryptonite. If he landed on it and got his ass kicked by 3 mortals there's no way he could lift the damn thing.
super-bats said:but....see......that's really frustrating with SR.....it leaves alot of things open to interpretation.......creating more questions and confusions than it does answers.
For example, in regards to NK, perhaps Supes did bury himself deep enough to protect himself from the Kryptonite. But, that's just some people's interpretation. The movie didn't really make it clear that he was doing that.
The same with the vague history / continuity mess. How exactly does SR fit in with the Donner movies? When exactly did Supes and Lois have a relationship and sleep together?
The movie never really addresses any of that......leaving it open to questions / interpretation / confusion.........
But...perhaps Singer did that....so that we have to buy the DVD and listen to the commentaries, etc.....sigh.

AVEITWITHJAMON said:Singer has never been a director who 'lays it all out there' so to speak, he likes the audience to discover some things for themselves, like how Xavier knew a lot more about Wolverine's past than he was letting on in X2 or a lot of the history between Stryker and Xavier in X2 also, we had to work some of that out for ourselves and i for one prefer it that way.
