Quick question when yundo is sacrificing himself to save peter he says he may have been your father boy but he sure wasn't your daddy but what does he say before he puts the space suit on Quill it came out all muffled.
Very emotional scene I was welling up when he died and when peter said sometimes that person you have been searching for your whole life is right there by your side all along and you don't even know it 😭

I think, but am not positive, it was "I'm sorry I screwed it up. I was lucky you were my boy."

I think that may have been thanks for that it's just so muffled but when it is released may use subtitles to check

Still a dramatic death I hope they can bring him back in infinity wars some how

Yes but given how Yondu sacrificed himself to kind of bring him back after that would be counterproductive wouldn't you agree

True it would be a bit pointless being as that is what he want but they have done it in other films. Plus I have seen Micheal Rooker in the cast list for infinity wars whether that is to change we will have to wait and see but anything is possible

Even if they did bring him back, how would they do it? They did cremate his body.

We won't know until Thor 3 with Hela liking being Death. We will get to know more about souls and death in that movie.

The impact of Yondu dying is big so I wouldn't want him to come back. I loved the character but its best to have it be a permanent death. MCU killed off two dudes I liked haha. I enjoyed Quicksilver and now Yondu.

I do hope Yondu gets his own prequel movie. He was one of the best characters in this one.

Yeah, I loved Yondu and it was really sad to see him die but bringing him back would cheapen it. Maybe there could be a scene somewhere in Infinity War where Peter visits the afterlife and sees him and they have a good father/son moment but I wouldn't want Yondu to come back to life.

As much as I wanted Yondu to come back, I agree that he has to remain dead so it won't cheapen the grand funeral they gave him at the end. Also, he had his best moment on the ship using his arrow to cut down every Ravager and it just can't be topped by any means.

Yeah, that scene topped the arrow scene in the previous film but to try and do something even bigger in another movie would just feel like overkill. They can't top that scene and shouldn't try.

Agreed, although IMO Yondu saving Quill at the cost of his own life is his best moment.....kind of the "We are Groot " moment of vol 2.

But everything else you've mentioned is true - Yondu was beyond badass in this film but also sad and funny and deep - a great character who got a really great send-off. I'd prefer to remember him that way.
