The Dark Knight Quiery about new photos of Batman

You make such sense that im enlighted! :) :hyper:

What else can I say? If you don't think Nolan sitting around thinking "Maybe I'll insert magic Freak-O eyes for no reason!" is unrealistic, then I really can't help you.

Well it would be quite obvious if the scene they were refering to was the "fear gaz" scene. Personally as i've mentioned before, i believe they used the lenses in a few shots to enhance his eyes, give him that "night creature" look. Batman is supposed to be scary, he is probably seen as a freak by normal people and specialy by criminals, thats his whole point of dressing up as a bat. This just adds a little to the visual look of Batman in the movie. Small details...:)

This picture, the background image to the right kind of demonstrates what i meant. It gives the eye a little extra shine/reflectiveness (word?) that a normal eye doesn't have, unless your crying of course.

It is obvious. When these reports came out, everyone was still talking about how Batman should/might/could wear contact lenses to white out his eyes. Hence the "not the way you think" comment indicating fear gas instead of the more common idea of white eyes.

Do you know any good place for BB screenshots? I can't find any good ones on google.

Dude: the lenses were for fear gas. You know, the explanation that actually makes sense--as opposed to one you pulled out of thin air.

This makes far more sense than just having him wear lenses in the scene with Gordon...I just don't get that one at all...

Meh, they're all kinda dark. Thanks anyway!

PS: I updated a post above, if you want to reply, send me a PM instead. We've taken this topic off ground for a little while now.

For the record I started this thread as a fan of no lenses.

Nolan took out his eyes, he now uses Wayne Sonar.
lol sweet!!:woot:

anyways, i love the pictures of Batman when his eyes are covered in shadow. hopefully there will be more scenes like that in TDK.

I think lenses would be an improvement. If he is riding the Bat-POD...how is he supposed to keep his eyes open with all the wind?

This is a lightened and enhanced version of the Batsuit pic.

No lenses. Just eyes.

I was thinking today of the new images that have been released of Batman- the "on top of the cop car pic" and the "on the batcycle" pic. Have you noticed that we can't see the eyes in either shot. Have they perhaps taken the "upgrading" the suit thing a bit far and included the white lenses?

Just something I was wondering about.
I hope not, that would be horrible
