I really like the way they are proposing and deliberating the the issues...
specifically
the bleeding heart liberal full of vim and vigor (but slightly sloppy) in the form of Mark-Paul Gosselaar

and the hard line ultra conservative and quite composed asst DA in the form of J. August Richards

The show looks too clean. The sets and the way it's photographed look unauthentic or maybe I'm just so used to the Shield, Law and Order style gritty look.

Haven't seen the second ep yet, but Gosselaar's character is the only one with any real spark. Everyone else feels like they are reading lines when they aren't interacting with him. It may have been just the pilot though.

Is J. August Richards just gonna play "Angel: Season Five" Gunn for the rest of his life? It's like they just ported his character from Conviction to this show.
