It was the complete collection of Rampaging Hulk/The Hulk! comic magazines from the late 70's/early 80's that I recently won off of ebay. 27 issues of Hulky goodness.
But that's not the most exciting thing about it. While having these magazine for their Hulkness is great the main reason I bought them was to complete my "Appearances Collections" for four characters.
I had every comic book appearance of Nick Fury, Moon Knight, Baron Strucker and Dominic Fortune already but now, having received these magazines, I have every magazine appearance as well.
My collections are nearing completion. BWAHAHAHAHAHA

Anubis said:I just got a bunch of stuff recently. A few good trades, issues 0-11 of Slingers, issues 1-9 of Brotherhood, and best of all, I got The Marvel Legends Galactis. It is, to say the least, kick@$$. Anyway, I decided to do some more backissue hunting, anybody got any recommendations for what to get? Marvel/DC/indie, doesn't matter.
Elijya said:The Last Avengers Story, Ruins, and Hulk: The End are all must have back issues, considering they've never been reprinted
Anubis said:I saw those and I only grabbed the Hornet one (in memory of the character) I just thought they were variants. So, would it be worth it to go buy the others too?
Anubis said:Cassie?! Cassie Lang?!?!?
Anubis said:Oh, i suppose I'll find out who the hell that is when I read it. I already located all the Damage Control minis, and the Deadline mini. I also saw a waay too exspensive copy of the Last Avengers Story both issues 1 and 2, but I decieded to see what goes down with ebay.
Anubis said:I'll see how I like the book first, then take it from there.
So, thats Damage Control, Last Avengers Story, Hulk the End, Daliy Bugle, and Deadline. Anything else?
Elijya said:how expensive?
yeah, Ruins
I'm sure you've read Marvels, right? Ruins is the exact OPPOSITE of Marvels. It still follows photographer Phil Sheldon, but it's in a world where everything in the Marvel Universe went terribly, terribly wrong. Warren Ellis wrote it. One guy whose name I forget, painted the first issue and half of the second, and two other guys finished the second. there were some behind the scenes problems, caused the book to be delayed, which is why so few people know about it
