I almost only use mobile and this site now sucks on mobile! I can't change how the threads are displayed. Images don't display properly. Everything is harder to find. I wish I could change it back! I've been a member here for many years and the new layout is making me want to leave the site!

Is anyone else having an issue of when you re-open (having logged off for a period of time, overnight or few hours later for example) the entire front page choice menus have collapsed and compressed, meaning you then have to click the + sign on the right to engage the sub forum, individual thread options.

Where is the user control panel on the mobile site? Cant seem to find it. Tried '''your content" and that just brings up old posts or threads I have created ages ago

Somewhat, I have most of them all opened currently, but I noticed when I logged on that some of them were randomly closed & some remained open, I surmise it's a bug.

The mobile view is appalling currently I know that much, which is a shame because I use(d) the mobile for lurking when I am out & have a few minutes spare to catch up on some posts, particularly the football thread.

Note - this might be different depending on what skin your viewing the board in (whether you're in the default red & blue skin, or if you had one of the mods change you to the light blue XenForo skin). For me on my phone (I'm on the light blue XenForo skin... at least until some of the bugs with the default red & blue get worked out), along the top of the page when I'm viewing on mobile, I can tap once on my name and that will pull up menu of links to various settings/preferences for my account that I can access (View Profile Page, Personal Details, Signature, Contact Details, Privacy, etc...) .

Another option is (and this should be there on the red & blue default as well) some where near the top should be a little box on the right side (I think on the red & blue skin it might look like a little newspaper, on the light blue XenForo skin it's a box with an arrow coming out of it), tapping on that will bring up a "Quick Navigation" menu... this has links to all the forums but at the top it should, again, have General Links where you can go to view your Profile, or view Your Account (Your Account link will take you to where you can change your preferences, details, signature, etc...)

The notification feature is kind of nice, otherwise it's a lot harder to tell where one post ends and the next begins and especially what date they were made. And it's harder to get a board/thread to stop showing as new even though you've read all the most recent posts.

It's been slowing down anyways, but this change is seriously not helping at all.

Definitely, it's not like it used to be, takes me few minutes to just catch up with new posts and I suspect even more people will leave. Hell, I've been spending more time on AwardsWatch than here lately

The new skin is going to take some getting used to. Especially for us moderators. I would not advise people to leave due to the new layout. Be patient and see if it grows on you. Report bugs to us so we can help get things fixed. All that good stuff.

Thanks Squeeks, much appreciated with the comment, but yes even with blue skin, which presentation style, even though it's more akin to the 'old format', to me, is actually even worse. For me, it goes beyond hate, far deeper than that.

Just hate it, and I get there have been posting 'quickness' advantages' put In and it's more 'streamlined' but the visuals are just horrendous to me. Also, as I said to C.Lee and Hunter R as I expressed such a view, I am completely factoring in I am a huge technological dinosaur and don't understand half the terms and what nots that have been implemented to be able to 'be quicker' and more accessible but even then, it's just 'bluerrrgh' to me. Sorry.

What was the reasoning behind the changes, was it necessary due to software changes or hardware updates to take in updated facilities ? In other words, was it completely necessary or was it a choice ? If a choice, if that's the case, it's kind of back fired, given the feedback, sadly.

TBH, if you can't take a few minutes (or in my case 10 minutes over a couple of days) setting things up again, then good riddance.

So.. I can't figure out how to get a thread to let the posts in order from newest to oldest. Care to enlighten me?
