i have a question: is the spidey 3 teaser trailer with potc2?

No. I got that football crap with Marky Mark. Some movie with Ashton Kutcher and water. Some movie about guys making a fake University or something. And other stuff that wasn't memorable.

I thought the plot was still too complicated... just too many parties clashing at once made this movie too jumbled up... some of the action scenes were cheezy but it was still good... I loved the skeleton balls scene... felt like something right out of Indiana Jones... the ending and the CGI were magnificent... great flick though...

I watched it last night and I liked the original better. This one was decent but it was a dissapointment for me. It had a few plot holes and it seemed to drag on for a while.

I don't mind certain movies to take long, because if I enjoy it so much I would rather have it lasting a good while then ending sooner. I see so many people argue of the length. Just enjoy it, unless it seemed to suck, which I doubt. I'm suppose to see it today, so I'm feening lol. I also seen people dislike the ending. Now I was told the ending and it didn't bother me. It sounds good. Some people always want to either see happy endings or no cliffhangers, just take it for what it is. As long as it's done sexy savvy?

Why are the complainers whining about the ending? The ending is no different than what was done with Lord of the Rings. IT'S A TRILOGY people. It was going to end on a cliffhanger regardless and having it end with

What's with all this impatience. The story is being told still. Lots of Spoilers in below message.

I mean there are tons of new interesting questions to ponder. Note these questions are building on the characters from the first movie & were not introduced until this film. I also think the stories introduce merrit more than 2 hours & 30 minutes. Hence the cliff hanger whetting the appetite.

1. Why would Jack want the "Black Pearl" raised by Davy Jones?
2. Did he have a deeper connection to it than just a ticket to freedom?
3. Does the Pearl have some mystical lore to it that attracts all these wild stories.
4. Davy Jone's back story: Who is this cruel love who made him so cold?
5. What will EIT dude do with Davy Jone's heart now that he has it?
6. How will Will save his pop?
7. Will Norrington be redeemed?
8. Why does Tia Dalma have the same locket as Davy Jones?
9. Did the ring Jack took from her have any play in his fate?
10. How is Barbosa now enjoying apples & not pushing up daisies?
11. Yes will Will & Elizabeth reconcile?
12. What transpired during those 28 years Jack was not Capt of the Pearl?
13. What merrits a soul being sent to Davy Jone's locker & how is that worse than being crew on the Flying Dutchman?
14. What is at World's End?
15. What did the compass show Jack to be his heading for what he truly wanted?

Lots of fun and interesting story to be told.

After seeing the movie yesterday, on opening day, I gotta say that this movie is the best out this summer. I loved every part of this movie. Davy Jones is such a bada**. The Kraken was amazing too.

really stole the show for me. I can't wait for the third. Ireally like the plot that they have set up.

10/10 for me.

And Capt. Jack was captain of the Black Pearl for 13 years.

I thought the first WAS MUCH BETTER.

This was a good movie. The best movie of the summer in fact (narrowly beating SR). But the first act was slow and pointless and the cannibal island and ghostly dress should have been cut out of the script as it only adds 30 minutes to the film which doesn't pick up any momentum until Will is captured on The Flying Dutchman.

After that, I'd say the third act is brilliaint. As good as the first with a great play on the love triangle (or quadrilatteral now) and an excellent cliffhanger. But the second act should have made up most of the first and the movie is too long. I think 30 minutes could have been cut out of the first act and it would've been better.

A good movie, but the first is iconic and a soon-to-be classic. This is the Temple of Doom compared to Raiders of the Lost Ark IMO.

Still a good piece of entertainment and the most enjoyable movie of the summer, then.

I thought it was great. Much better then the first one . Johnney Depp was hilarious and Keira was gorgous . I could see why 3 guys wanted her The ending was classic and I can't wait to see what happens next. 10/10

To me, the Pirate movies are a return to excellent action films that aren't completely brain-dead. A modern day Indianna Jones, if you will. (I know the comparisons between those franchises is getting old, but it still seams fitting.)
