This is litterally to many the worst comic book movie ever made. I just wonder if anyone actually liked it. Simular to the rate Batman Forever thread, rate B&R. Your opinion matters.
Same here. I gave it a three because (even if at the times even I, knew it was bad) there are things I think are good. The Robin suit like Nightwing. Goerges Clooney looked the part, I liked the unrealistic architecture not dark enough IMO yet. The batman mask. and the batman suit. Without the nipples, I find it good. Not robotic but organic, and the symbol was the oval yet it was subtlely stealth. And again the mask, I like the mask. I often see the mask in fan-made film about batman. It is the closest to the comic-book. Independantly from what the movie was.2 simply because - as Kevin said - as bad as it is, it's still not the worst superhero movie ever.
I have to agree with your points above, but even so. Batman Forever was campy with Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones acting, Batman and Robin was plain bad. Mr. Freeze's neverendingly bad ice puns? Or his "Kill the heroes. Yes, kill them. Kill them. Yeah. Destroy everything." in such a detached way that he sounds less like a super-villain ordering a massacre, and more like a gas station attendant giving a motorist directions to the Interstate? Poison Ivy's HORRIBLY bad acting? Batgirl?! Bane being a ******ed Nazi Skinhead spliced with a Mexican wrestler?! And let's not forget, Batman and Robin at a fundraiser?! And last but certainly not least, Batman and Robin's suits have pop-out ice skates to battle Mr. Freeze's Mighty Ducks minions?!Same here. And I think from a adam West point of view B&R is very satisfying. It's camp, but campyness is part of what batman was , so I didn't watch or re-watch the movie as a actual batman movie but as a 1960 movie.
Those too.t:I give it a 3, only for Bruce's scenes with Alfred, Freeze's personal moments, the effects, and...that's it.
