Still like the trailer after watching it a bunch of times now - the film looks stunning. The story will be dramatic and fun, like Superman should be. Superman is campy at times, just like Spider-man, so no big deal.

This whole Lex is too campy is overblown as well - he's more psychotic to me, and Spacey pulls it off.........

Look, I loved it too. But I cant understand why some people says CGi wasn't so great in full trailer??? Post-production will be ended next week.
but this eefects that are in the trailer are all finished. why do you think they waited so long ?
to finish the efects. you think you will see the same scene in the theater with 50% better CGI? this is what we will get. and it looks good. its their fault that they dont use some imagination.

but this what we get.

But why everyone says CGI is just good? Can you explain me it.

Look I think the trailer was okay, it wasnt great, and didnt give me the goose bumps as the teaser did with the krypton theme, I have to agree with the majority the CGI looks horrible, I mean with Reeve he looked like a real person, with Routh you know thats a computer image. One thing I did notice was suit colors, light scenes the suit looks GREAT, and the scene when he chases the plane the cape is a beautiful red, I dont like the mute colors though when he is on new krypton or in tragic situations, like the scene when he is pissed, I believe his colors should stand out. I really wish they would have used the williams theme throughout however. The kid still shouldnt be in the movie, but hey you gotta inject something into the film, and it seems 90% that the kid is his, if he doesnt die how will this effect future movies, plus the film is PG-13 remember anakin "killed" younglings but we never saw that, maybe the kid will just be face down and dead at luthor's feet and we are suppost to be shocked, I dont know. However if he is alive in future movies, will the kid fly with dad as a teenager or will they kill superman at doomsday's hand and then the kid will be "new" superman.

If only they could see what you and I see with our eyes. Also, there is a great differance between a high rez cinema format to that of quicktime. This film was filmed in hi def format which will also be able to be played in IMAX. The compression of quicktime will still contain artifacts and colour grading changes. If it can stand the scrutiny of Imax, then I can only assume what we see in quicktime and on the big screen will be chalk and cheese. Plus, no one will have the luxury of freeze framing to study each damn frame of work. For me, its simple. Let go and enjoy it. Sure it must be cg when he lands with a crashing boom, and yes at close scrutiny you can tell. A good example is the shot when he is reaching for the plane. When seen at normal speed, it looks hot, But if you choose to look at each frame as I did, you can tell it is a cg standin. Some people just have higher anticipations and expectations. Perhaps in time, nobody will question Cg at all.

I don't think POTC2 full trailer had better CGI shots than SR.

It was great, but people think POTc2 had more action than SR, and that is why they think so.

People prefer more quanity than quality.

I voted 7. there wasn't much here to get me excited about the movie. I know that just because I don't agree with all the "that was awsome" folks here I will get the whole "you don't know anything" speech. If you feel that way fine. but this is a place to express MY opinion. and if you think I don't know what I'm talking about check my login name. I know what I mean. I thought the flying was very stiff. Although no one has been able to pull it off like Chris Reeve. So I don't fault it here and I liked showing speed, with the wind in his face and hair but I was left wanting more. If I wasn't psyched to see the movie I would have just dismissed this as another movie coming out this summer rather than the blockbuster return of Superman. The teaser was better in my opinion.

"How could you leave us like that?. I absolutely love that scene and it's my favourite part of the trailer. Bosworth is to thank for that, she does a wonderful job. And the music in that scene is beautiful. Is it an Ottman piece or something else? And I like Routh's delivery too, even though I don't know whether it's Supes or Clark speaking.

I give it a 9 and I'm glad people are starting to like Kate as Lois :)

Well here's mine. I grew up loving Christopher Reeves portrayal, and for the time and effects back then, he did a marvelous job indeed. But as for being stiff.............. man have you watched Superman the Movie lately................come on. If ya wanna talk stiff, well thats a fine example. But we all still enjoy the movie regardless of how dated the effects are. I personally dont think seeing a few very quick shots fo him flying we can all come to a conclusion. One thing is certain. The teaser and the trailer have envoked all of you into wanting to either see more.............. to see if its going to be better..............see if its crap...........and see if its better than previous versions. Hopefully you will get your 10 bucks worth regardless when you see it on the big screen. It sure is a tease.
