Lets see how everyone rates/ranks the movies and whats everyones general opinion on all of them is. I personally love Burton & Nolan's Bat movies and I was always a great fan of them. Schumacher's I heavily dislike and they always make the Bat franchise seem repulsive and childish to me. But anyway

If I had to choose my favourite film of all six, I'd be hard-pressed to say which is the best. I've always considered Batman Returns as the superior film, there is (in my opinion) no questioning that, but The Dark Knight and Batman Begins would be close as well because they are better Batman films.

Whilst I consider TDK to be a better constructed film overall, I find Batman (1989) more entertaining and rewatchable. TDK and Batman (1989) are borderline 10/10 films for me, but B:MOTP is practically a perfect Batman film.

The best ones are, of course, the two Burton and Nolan movies, all among the finest superhero movies ever. I would say technically The Dark Knight is the best movie, but Batman is the best adaption of the comics.

Batman Forever had the potential to be the best of the lot - read the original script of Peter David's novelisation. I think it's still a very good movie, and is condemned by association with Batman & Robin.
