I gave it a light 4/5.... like a 3.75 or something. It's a solid teaser. I'd probably be more hyped for it if The Force Awakens teaser wasn't as awesome as it was.

A solid 8 if I had to put a BS number on it. Very well done. Snyder fed the starving masses without bloat or giving away too much. It was great to see lack of money shots and more about themes. As a first trailer it set things up to a T.

Are you comparing BvS's first teaser against SW's first teaser (released last November)? A first teaser tends to be enigmatic and moody; subsequent ones give more details, more story info, etc.

He's probably talking about the one that was just released yesterday. SW: TFA 2nd teaser...which IMO is a far superior teaser.

A lot of greatness in there (the intriguing angle on Superman, some striking shots, and most of the dialogue), but it doesn't reach the heights of the first MOS teaser imo, which for me was perfection.

But for the record, I think most teasers are trash. So this is definitely a win.

I just meant that 1st teasers usually have a different style/focus than 2nd (and subsequent) ones. So a bit of an apples/oranges comparison.

10/10. I loved the trailers for MoS, but I had a few nitpicks with each of them whereas with this one I would not change a single frame. It's just awesome incarnate. I had lost some interest in this film, with it not being out for still yet another year, the bloated cast, the fact that MoS was a disappointment. But now I can't wait for March.
