i find this really odd on the day disney announces that they're cutting back on staff and movies (18 a year now down to 8) because, despite the success of POTC2 and cars, they still have flops like annapolis.

i guess crappy movies still make the 8 qouta

Maybe this is something that will just go straight to DVD or to the Disney Channel as one of their original movies. Why even bother remaking it when they could just do different sequels to the original & turn it into more of a film series.

Chris Parker (Elizabeth Shue) is a high school senior that her date stands her up. The only thing she can do now is babysit Brad and Sara Anderson, and their annoying sex fiend neighbor Darryl. When her friend Brenda is trapped in a bus station, Chris has to travel out of the suburbs to the big city. While there and with a flat tire, Chris, Brad, Sara, and Darryl get caught in the middle of a mafia deal lead by Dan Lynch because of a Playboy magazine.

How could that possibly be racist? Remaking the movie to appeal more towards an ethnic audience was Hollywood's idea to begin with. Now doing individual sequels to Adventures In babysitting that tells a different story each time of a certain girl & certain situations that she might get into was just opinion.
