This is the sequel to the 2007 Spanish first person shooter film called "[REC]" which is about a bio-logical or in-human virus that takes over an apartment building full of people, [REC] is about a news crew following a fire-department around all night and goes with them to the call at the Hotel. Things spin out of control and eventually all the inhabitants, fire-fighters and, news crew are all killed off.

[REC] 2 is about the resuce attempt afer-wards and them not knowing what is inside and, like the first movie, [REC] 2 promises to be graphic, scary and, great!

I've been following the film for about a year, but I haven't been impressed as I was with the original....yet, hopefully.

I'm the exact polar opposite! I am beyond stoked for [REC] 2!

Nice! Love the new pace it's taking on. So I take it this time the movie's gonna end with the disease spilling into the city. :o

I heard some kids are gonna be in this.

I seen a couple trailers for this and some photo's.

^ The teens, maybe some people trying to find out the truth? Who knows. Point is, I can't wait for this movie. So does this confirm that people in rec can not be killed? I mean, they're tearing them up with automatic weapons, they should be able to stop these guys if they're killable.

REC 1 was soooooooooo good. Looking forward to it.

I think I'm gonna fork over money for a TIFF ticket just to see this. That's $20 though.

I didn't find this scary at all. It's a step down from the first I thinl/

I agree.

I love the first, but this one bored me. I was watching it for ages and ages and then I looked at my watch and realised I hadn't been watching it for ages and ages. I'd watched thirty minutes of it. It took forever to go off. Dislike.

I've seen both of these as well as Quarantine. I liked all three, not sure which my favorite was. I may have enjoyed this one the most, though. Some great action and plenty of eerie moments and I enjoyed the deeply connected continuity with the original movie. Kind of like Halloween II with Halloween.

I think the next [REC] film is slated to be a prequel, IIRC.
