Zoolander 2 Is Coming

Zoolander 2 was bizarre and not funny at all.

I loved the first Zoolander movie, it made fun of that time period when Models and E! News was big in pop culture. It showed how ridiculous it all really was and made fun of it in a kindhearted way.

I thought the Sequel would have done the same making fun of what pop culture is today and how out of place Derek is in it.
No one cares about models anymore they care about obnoxious people on tv instead.
I thought the movie would be about Derek bringing beauty back into the world or something, in a shallow model way but ends up being in a bettering yourself way. Like how the first film ended helping kids.

This movie was to dark and not light hearted fun as the first movie.
The characters in the first film prevailed by becoming good and doing whats right.

In the sequel Derek drops the Fbomb out of character and him and Hansel just want to be prevelant again, nothing is really gained.

Nothing about this film was good. I think I read that the guy who helped write the original Zoolander wanted to kill him at the end and since he wasnt able to do that he would Kill Derek somehow in the sequel. Well he sure did kill any chances at this movie being a success.

I hate sequels where the characterd are killed off, and starting the movie in the lowest of the low. Nothing enjoyable or fun about this. They did the complete oposite of the original and made it horrid.

Making a good sequel is taking the themes of the original by not rehashing anything about it but staying true to what was first created for the first movie snd continuing with it. Staying true to the characters and having them grow from where they were elevated at the last point of the first movie. Not doing the complete oposite and making everything awful as a starting point for your sequel Like ALIEN3

They had this entire promo of Derek and Hansel at this huge modeling show last year on social media and the way the audiance at the show reacted was Great because it was real and candid surprise. I thought that would have made the movie as re-entering that world as there Big come back on a big scale in the movie. But no. Were not brought back to it in a reality documentary style with the E! News reporters like in the first movie. Zoolander 2 is just a movie thats not in the now riffing off reality but stuck in a crap plot that isn't funny or entertaining.
I thought this movie would be about them being older male models and coping somehow with that. That Derek is a family man now and Hansel is modeling as an older male model.

All the new characters failed to. The woman villain, his son was horrid, and Peneolpe Cruise is getting known for being in lackluster sequels like POTC

There was always an ongoing joke of Derek having the tinest cellphone. Now that people have Smart phones that are almost the sizes of Ipads, they just didnt think writing this movie.
They didnt do what they did on the first film by letting scenereos and how things in the world are today write and correspond to the characters and each scene. Instead they wrote a boring strange story and plodded along through it.

There was no fun moments like the walk off in the first film. For the most part the celebrity cameos in the sequel were cringe worthy and out of place. There was no good cameos that progressed the story like David Duchivney playing the hand model who progresses the plot in the first movie.

What makes movies interesting and fun to watch is seeing worlds we don't know about. Like the first one with the fashion world amd celebetity parties. Instead the sequel is about the lead characters being shut out of everything. There is nothing fun or interesting to see.

This movie was a waste of time. I loved the first film, but this one just didn't scream Zoolander to me. It didn't even feel like a sequel at times. I think the best part was the Keifer Sutherland cameo. Other than that, it just another sequel that took too long to be made.

Finally got around to it. I thought it was stupid silly. Not the best, not as good as the first. But, not the worst. I'd give it a 6.5/10. It was decent, made me laugh, it was forgettable but at least it was entertaining. Basically it wasn't 'Vacation' territory nor 'Anchorman 2' territory nor anything Sandler, it was... stupid silly in the classic comedies pumped out in the 90s, early 00s. I wanted to laugh, did, so that was good. I'd say go in looking for something that doesn't match up to the first, but still offers plenty of laughs - for an equivalent, it almost reminded me of 'I Spy' (2002). A classic "mall" movie.
