This is not an acceptable for Warner Bros not bring Brandon Routh back for the sequel or reboot.

If they don't want Brandon Routh for a reboot, then I won't even support that.

However, there is no way that they can do a reboot of the franchise with Routh as Superman because he is connected to the previous franchise.

I didnt have any problems with Routh but in a total reboot bringing him back is probably not going to work.

Really? Wasn't Casino Royale a reboot to the James Bond film? Last I check, Judi Dench was M again in that one. While it common reboot don't use the same actors in the role, but some can work with how Dench play M again in a reboot compare to the previous films where she was M.

I think that is irrelevant. If they do a total reboot they are more than likely to cut all ties with SR including the current story as well as the man who played Supes in that movie. They will probably move forward with a new actor to start a new francise that features the man in the TITLE ROLE being Superman.

i hate with a passion an idea that a superman movie would again devote 30 -40 minutes of '' bla bla bla bla ''
a superman sequel (done right) could start with the action right away.

EXACTLY, a re-boot will consist of an hour of the movie telling us stuff we already know before any sort of action kicks in.

We have had the first movie with the re-introductions, etc, dont make us go through it all again, just give us a sequel that can start off with a bang.

I really like Routh as Superman, but if there is a reboot and he' s not brought back, I will support a new actor so long as I think he fits the role. I'm not so connected to Routh that I think any other guy can't or shouldn't play Superman, I'm like that for any actor in a superhero role.

Do it Indiana Jones style. Introduce the character as an experienced hero, and go right into the action and develop it from there.

If they did, the story that had lots of action and good story telling was Robocop. The flashbacks were quick and to the point.

Exactly Dark B, we just dont need another origin story that will take at least an hour just to get all of the origin out of the way.
