It wasn't too recent, but I had Red Dead in mind when I watched 3:10 to Yuma and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. But I am currently reading Blood Meridian.

I've been watching them all week. Young Guns 1&2, Tombstone, Unforgiven, 3:10 to Yuma. I've got Open Range in right now.

Holy crap this game is awesome. I never thought just riding around vast stretches of wilderness could be as cool as it is. The animations are all top notch. Riding a horse takes some getting used to but is really satisfying once you do. Easily the best horse mechanics in a game. The attention to detail is unreal.

3:10 To Yuma is a great film, just added the original to my instant que, but the remake was awesome.

Anyone else went to the Midnight release? I didn't expect there to be as many people as there were, the gamestop I went to is alot smaller and out of the way than most others I been to before. First in, and first out with the game and a copy of the strategy guide.

And, yeah, got it for the PS3. I should get some playing time tonight or tomorrow I think.

Bought my game from Best Buy and the preorder bonus wasnt really that. It was a code found in the game box, which anyone could have gotten w/o a preorder. Seems publishers are finally getting smart and packing them in the retail box as opposed to giving them out with the preorders. People would preorder, take the code and then cancel it

Id assume.

Im no where near the end of the game tho. Iv only done a handful of story missions. This game is easily the most immersive game iv ever played. All the 'side' quests/missions/games are awesome. I just spent a full hour drinking at the bar and playing texas hold em. And the hold em in this game is just as good if not better than other full texas hold em games. Loving this title.
