I would totally love to see a gryphon... and then shoot it in the face.![]()

Yeah, I want to see Bigfoot fighting a bear. Just hang out on my horse and watch them go at it."Buckbeak, no!"
Lol it'd be great to add them into the food chain too, so you have wolf attacks fox, cougar attacks wolf, bear attacks cougar, then griffin plucks bear off the ground and carries it away, until dragon incinerates Griffin AND bear.
No, because [BLACKOUT]John will have come back to life[/BLACKOUT] thanks to the zombie plague.will it beif we already beat the game?jack
I love the Standardbred but it's really, really weak. A bear looks at it hard and it just keels over dead.I bit the bullet on a Hungarian Half-Bred deed. The deeds are convenient and it'll be cool to have the white horse to go with the black American Standardbred.
I've been working on the Sharpshooter challenges. Have really ignored the Survivalist and Treasure Hunter though.
I hope the Deadly Assassin outfit comes out as DLC.

Getting shot doesn't really seem to be a big problem for anything in the game. John can take like a dozen handgun shots unless you walk him right up to someone and put his face smack-dab on the end of their gun. But animal attacks are another story. Stop your Standardbred when you hear those familiar cougar snarls and count how many passes it'll take for just one to take your horse down. It's usually only about 2--3 at the most. 1 bear hit'll do it, too. Even John himself can take more 2 solid bear hits before dying.that interesting because while it's the weakest, i still use it all the time and it gets shot at quite a bit and it's never died on me once. i value its speed too much to switch anyway.
I wish bulls and buffalo were ridable in the SP game. I would totally break a bull and ride it forever.

Still, you're right, the speed advantage is too good to pass up. I don't even notice a huge difference between the Hungarian Half-bred and the American Standardbred, but just the subconscious knowledge that the Standardbred is supposed to be faster keeps me using it instead of the much hardier Half-bred. Plus, really, you shouldn't just be standing your horse still to be attacked in the first place.
hmm, i actually do notice a difference in speed between the standardbred and the hungarian. the speed difference is much less noticeable imo between the standardbred and the kentucky saddler (which i think provides the best balance between speed and strength).
A modern car's pushing it a bit, but I would've loved to be able to drive the early car that the Bureau boys ride around in. There's one parked outside a shop in Blackwater, but you can't enter it or anything.![]()
