It is on the torrent trackers, guys. It's not so complicated to find it.

Just saw it, man Spidey took a beating. Burnt tongue part was funny. Boy I find Liz annoying. Pete needs to hurry up and get w/ Gwen.

well i cant do torrents on my laptop i dont have any torrent dlers on my laptop and i dont like to dl on my laptop i like watching it on yt or other simular sites.

hey you guys who do get to watch it on teletoon is there a new episode next week or no, i just heard their might be a wolverine and the x-men marathon instead.

The SSM team delivered once again with wonderfully animated fight scenes and well-written jokes, but the rest of the episode seemed rather lacking, compared to...well, every other episode in the series thus far. Maybe one more episode of development leading up to the reforging of The Six would have helped, methinks. Or, saving them for the middle/end of the season. Three episodes in and we get another SS episode? Slow down, hoss! The pacing here was just too quick.
Peter and Gwen angst at each other, villains show up, get defeated before you can say webhead, Peter and Gwen angst at each other some more, episode over.
Overall, not a bad episode, but not one of their best.

I laughed extra hard at Peter getting distracted by MJ, and Rhino's "I hate you...so much", though. It's moments like those that make it all the more fun to imagine those two together in the future; hoping this series eventually follows canon. (Even if it's on post-series, direct to DVD movies we've heard about)

6/10

Cletus!!! Cool pic but kind of a spoiler don't ya think? Some of us are still waiting for youtube to get this episode. Blast you Canadians with your hockey, maple leaves, beavers, free health care, and getting the second season first!

Ah, but if it weren't for them, we wouldn't be getting the chance to see these episodes right now at all.

I loved
the way Peter jumped on the ice rink and realised he had to settle down with his powers, so he just pretended to slip and fall. It just really reminded me of the comics.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat I think. Torrents don't seem to work on my computer at work. And with my luck if I try something at home on my laptop, I'll go to the wrong site and download a virus, if I look for it on my own I have terrible luck. Thakfully we at least have some nice Canadian folks to put it up for us, I just wish one of em would get to youtube soon.

yea i know, i was really hoping to watch it tonight before i got to bed by around midnight cause i have classes between 9am-noon and would have liked to watch it before hitting the hey tonight, though doesnt look it tonight for me urrgh.

Yea i dont like doing torrents in my laptop either cause A. dont want to get virus on my laptop, and B i dont want to waste hard drive space for it. I only dont torrents when i am home and dl something on the family pc. I rather watch something via yt or other upload sites were you dont have to dl it. And either way watching the candian aired episodes or waiting to see it on disney xd i wouldnt be able to see it while i am at school since i dont have disney xd on cable package in dorm and i am stuck with seeing it online.

Will Disney DX be a new channel after the digital broadcast transistion? Cause I know that right now it's called Toon Disney and that it's switching or something. But either way I currently don't have toon disney in my cable package, I don't know if I'll eventually get it or not but it's still frustarting.

I really hope that Marvel.com will start putting it on their website, they're doing it with Wolveriene and the X-Men. They better do it for Spidey, it's a crime they don't have season 1 up right now. They should really provide those of us without these channels a legal way to view it. I've resolved to watch Wolvie and the X-men legally on there. I wanna legally watch Spidey. YOU HEAR ME MARVEL!

its just toon disney getting renamed and retooled into disney xd with a couple new live action boys shows and bring in old cartoons and other old disney shows.

marvel is probably going to do it once its airing here in the states in march. I know they had a page up on ssm during season 1.

Wow...great episode.

New Quote for the "OMG they said that list?"

During the fight Spidey says
"well...you are the expert on premature gloatalation."

Very funny...and pretty inappropriate. lol.

We all know what the joke was meant to infer...but i guess it flys past the kids heads so they could get away with it.

In the credits to the first episode of season two, it lists
Peter MacNicol
who is the voice of
Doc Ock
, as the Master Planner. A big mistake on their part cause it ruins things for those not obsessed with Spidey's comic book history. I noticed though, that they don't list his voice in second episode, so they at least realized that mistake.

In other words... probably not Kingpin. Though I do hope we get to see him in this show, despite possible copyright issues or whatever.

Loved the episode... is it just me or Gwen's hair getting longer?

the episode had a lot of action going...like it but not as much as the 1st one.

i find the peter parker stories shorter and less tension.

Am I the only one that got this episode was intended to be a light and a cheerful Christmas episode ?

I mean, it gets pretty obvious by the end with all the warm feelings and jazzy xmas music..

Seems they made this to be aired in Xmas but the lack of airing station ruined that..

I liked it for what it is. It's not as good as the others but hey, it's still got the minimal quality you'd expect from this series.

Well, this was a nice action-packed little episode, although it certainly is a bit weird to see a Christmas episode that's not around Christmas time. Anyway:

There's certainly a lot to like here in terms of developments and character moments. First of all, as Spidey acknowledges, this technically is the only time he's actually beaten the Sinister Six (or is that Sinister Six 2.0?) and you definitely get a sense that he has to use his wits more than his powers to stop each one. I especially like how he stopped Electro using the ol throwing the tires routine, and also Sandman (which, I'm not sure if anyone thought of freezing him before).

Naturally, however, he's not so lucky when it comes to the romance department as we see that Liz tend to an injured Flash (who even with his cast on still tries to play the role of the bone-headed jock), get Gwen mad at him by saying she will not be his second choice, and even strikes out with MJ--well, technically, he doesn't since she accepts the offer of hot cooca, but he sure lost points for looking at her...um, assets? (Snapping her fingers to get him to stop oggling her was classic, BTW). And even when Gwen is clearly worried about him, wondering if he had been crushed, she's still upset at Peter. Of course, this is as it should be.

You also got to appreciate the little jokes such as Spidey unable to quip properly because of a burnt tounge, Sandman saying the Kraven how he as a bad experience with cats, Rhino making his bug pun, the little robot gargoyle bats squeaking "rematch," and of course Spidey's reaction to the Daily Bugle billboard with Jameson in a Santa Claus hat. Also, we got some nice cameo appearances from Blackie Drago, "Patch", and Cletus Cassidy (in a santa hat, no less).

Thing is, I'm still not entirely sold on Kraven "the Were-cat" angle for the show, or that Mysterio still tries to pass himself off as the evil Sorcerer Supreme (although how awesome was that Chinesse Dragon he was riding on?), and I didn't really feel the rapport between the villains this time around as one did during the Sinister Six episode from last season. Still, can't complain too much.

Of course, the real interesting development comes from the Master Planner Saga and the big curve ball (which was to be expected) that Doc Ock apparently is NOT the Master Planner. In fact, he may not even be Doc Ock anymore and is just plain Otto Octavious. No, the real kicker was that, perhaps, the Master Planner is actually Doc Ock's own robotic arms. That is a nice twist on the classic story, in that while it may not physically be Doc Ock, at least a part of him is involved. Although, I'm sure some might think it's too much like Spider-Man 2 with the AI tentacles, but I think it's an effective take, considering how long term Spider-Man fans already know the Master Planner is Doc Ock and that Weisman uses that to his advantage.

Oh, and that was a very nice ending, as well with regards to Aunt May's Christmas present.

The next episode, in which my guess about the Master Planner might come about and how this is possible should prove interesting. Not to mention we could get one of those moments of Spidey lifting the big weight off his shoulders in the cartoon series.

Really? I thought that whole thing was only a fake story that was meant to cast confusion. I doubt that he became his normal whimpy self again just like that only because of Dr. Kafka's therapy.
