When PETER PARKER breaks up with LIZ ALLAN to finally be with GWEN STACY, nothing goes as planned. Likewise for SPIDER-MAN, who finally unmasks the GREEN GOBLIN, revealing him to be--No, wait! Stop! I promise I won’t tell a soul!

Heer Herr, how can this show not get one!

Since Chameleon has been confirmed this season and hasn't appeared at all I think we will see something special with him in this episode. Pumpkin Henchmen are appearing again, as it was shown in a clip. YAY!!!!

Chameleon will be in this episode? Wow, isin't it a little TOO obvious that Norman is the Goblin? Norman is the Goblin and he was all along. And if I'm wrong I don't really care.

And why do I get the feeling that Spidey will unmask the Goblin, it will be revealed that he is Norman and it just, ends there? So we have to wait until season 3 to get it all explained? Now that will be cruel wouldn't it?
Hehe, I would laugh so hard if that happend. Or better yet, Spidey unmasks the Goblin and it's Gwen!!

I really enjoyed this episode. I loved how seamlessly the episode moved between the action on Ryker's island and the opening night of m3's production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

As with the last episode the emotional aspects of the show were spot on again, poor Liz, and the twist with BlackCat was very interesting adding a good deal to her development and the relationship with Spidey; I thought it also fitted very nicely.

Torrent's up. Great episode, nice to see Felicia back and further developed as a character. The juxtaposition of the action inside the prison with bits of the play was just as cool as the opera music in Gangland.

Also, Hobie's voice is awesome, especially in the closing moments.

Ah, I didn't think about that comparison at all but it's a very good device to use during this arc so I have high expectations for the finale!

I agree about Hobie, what a great choice for his first lines of dialogue!

I have so high expectations for this episode, and yet there is so much that needs to happen. I just don't see how it all plays out in this one episode. There is this final battle between Spidey and the Goblin, and since they didn't even meet properly by now, I expect nothing less than the ones we had in 'Identity Crises' and 'Gangland'; there is this mystery concerning the Goblin's true identity that needs to be explained; maybe Chameleon's role in all that; and Peter's breakup with Liz and finally realizing that Gwen's the one, also there's Harry's reaction to that... I just don't see it how it can all play out in this one 20min episode, but these guys make wonders with this show, so I guess there's nothing to worry.

Man! I have never been this excited to see a Spectacular Spider-Man episode before. Never. Of course, I'm excited every week, always have been since "Market Forces"(when I saw how genius this show really is) and I loved when this second season started but damn, this time, I'm so excited! Can't belive it's ending now. Ah well, that's because of the Australian airings. I hope I wont be disappointed. Hope this episode is pure perfection.

So far, my favorite episodes of this show are:
The Invisible Hand, Catalysts, The Uncertainty Principle, Persona, Group Therapy, Blueprints, Shear Strength, Gangland and Opening Night. Let's hope that "Final Curtain" get's there too and top my favorite episode: Catalysts.

I know it's probably not gonna happen, but I hope the Vulture teams up with Spidey to fight the Green Goblin. After all, Vulture hates Norman more than anything.

Bah. We all know the Goblin is Emily Osborn. I mean, c'mon, have we ever seen her and the Goblin in the same place? And no one could possibly be that robotic, it's all an act -- to cover up the merry psychosis of the Goblin. And notice that *she* doesn't show up on "Opening Night", along with Harry amd Norman. And those rhymes? Her name is Emily and so is the great poet Emily Dickenson. Greg, classicist that he is, was throwing in an obvious clue.

Seriously, it's Normy, but I can't wait to see how this one is going to go down.
