I rememberd when I thought Shocker would be in SM3.

Yes sir, sure do. People thought that the described GG2 suit was actually for Shocker, being the Ultimate costume. It was rumored that Spidey would save the mayor from this version of Shocker, thereby prompting Spider-Man day.

I also remeber a select few thought this movie would go into the Clone Saga, upon having Topher join the film.

A while back IMDb had Aunt May/Carnage next to Rosemay Harris' name on the cast list. Just goes to show how unreliable that website is.

i was one of the few that liked the chameleon idea. Alot of people at the time hated it, just as everyone hated sandman as well. :wink:

The aunt may/carnage thing was more of a joke then a real rumor. Only ******s actually believed it. Somebody emailed imbd and told them the carnage thing just to see if they would seriously put it up, which they did.

When the Chameleon storyline was thought up it sounded pretty decent and it made sense to me, so i remember calling all my friends and having a friggin meeting about SM3, telling them that this was the official storyline and they all had fangasms.

1. Venom won't be in the film. He's not classic enough.
2. Topher Grace won't be playing Brock.
3. It's a black and white picture. The symbiote will never be in the movies.

Yea the Chameleon idea was talked about alot, I remember when THC did say Horse of many colors everyone thought he was the Chameleon.

Also I remember saying Aunt May died in this one. The Shocker robbing the bank I do remember that as well. Then all the crap where people thought John Jameson was coming back as Man-Wolf, or that he was brining back the Symbiote from the moon.

I even remember some thinking that the Symbiote was made by Harry, in some lab, to kill him but gave him more powers.

Ehhh the ol' days.
