Watching the mid-season finale made me think about how the story will tie all wraps and conclude its self.

I this tv drama more as a movie, which how I see can effect the outcome of all these subplots.

The writers can't possibly have a twist ending for the series finale where NYC blows up anyway. It would make the most sense and be most shocking, but it would rob the fans of their time.

So how can this show possibly resolve this major plot without ending the show so soon? All things must come to an end sadly, but how much further can they stretch this plot (destruction of NYC) any further without losing the audiences attention?

Perhaphs if this plot is resolved in the second season, the series will move onto the next chapter of these heroes lives. Possibly showing what new danger lie in front of them .

ok so I think peter is adapting to the powers he came in contact with

Maybe a world wide danger or them fighting whoever Mr.bennet works for.

I'm guessing the show is gonna be like 24, where each season has a new major threat. The only thing though, is I really hope they don't form a team or CTU like office. I think most of the fun of the show is seeing everyone meet up, that's what worries me about season 2.

This series has staying power, the bomb in new york, is just another stepping stone to the big picture. THE LIST that they speak of, is going to turn into a big debate. More people are going to be aware of the vast change of humanity. Its going to be one of the greatest stories ever...to come.

ya, just imagine what happens if the public find out that there are people out there with special abilities...ofcourse its like X-men to a certain extent but this show has proven that it can be different.

Aye indeed, this show is taking a different path from the comic counterparts we all like to match it with, main reason why I like this show so much.

who says the show will end with nyc blowing up or not blowing up. i think that might just be the end of this season. maybe nyc does blow up, but not as much as they think. more "heroes" surface and it becomes more like x-men. where people start freaking out and sides are chosen. we don't know what they have in store for us.

it would be interesting though if they ended up not able to save NYC blowing up and in result caused more crisis and its the crisis resulted from the bomb is what the heroes are actually suppose to save.

Or if the success of keeping NY from blowing up, another city blows up, or something worse.

I can see more people with powers coming out and one of them be a serial killer, but not in Syler type of way. Or a conspiracy to use them.
