If you don't believe in Hell, why get upset if someone thinks you will go there if you continue on your own way? I keep seeing people say that Christians should just suck it up if they think they are being persecuted. How about the people offended by what Christians believe? Should they also just suck it up and keep to themselves?
Because that's having your cake and eating it too. You get to pass judgement on others and say hurtful things about them and then when they get upset about it, you run away and hide behind "well you don't actually believe that so you can't get offended when I say it." Obviously, the idea of hell in and of itself doesn't bother me, but being judged by another whom additionally thinks that they're beyond reproach is bothersome and offensive.
