I hope Marvel delivers quite the show as they normally do; 2013 is still the best with Tom Hiddleston's performance, the Winter Soldier and GotG panels, and the teaser for AoU. What are you expecting from Marvel's panel?

Phase 4 lineup, Disney+ content, and Endgame box-office update.

I think they'll waste some of the presentation will be a victory lap for Endgame. Then they'll bring out some of the stars of the films we already know about and officially announce them and try to get some interest in them (they'll probably show some clips, production art etc.).

I think we already got the big announcement yesterday with Thor 4, and I'm not expecting any announcements bigger than that.

... but hopefully I'm wrong and they'll surprise us with something.

I know it’s a long shot but I’m hoping (futility) that we get a Hulk and FF announcement.

Predictions that are sure bets of happening:

Black Widow: Announced for May 2020. Concept art is shown. Cast like David Harbour and Scarlett Johansson is brought to the stage; director Cate Shortland is also present. Feige spills the beans on when exactly Widow is set.

Eternals: Officially announced for the November 2020 release date. Director Chloe Zhoa is brought on stage as well as most of the most of the rest of the cast. They spill the beans on the details of the movie.

Shang Chi: February 2021 release date annouced. Dustin Daniel Cretton will come to the stage floor and similar to when Marvel revealed the Captain Marvel casting at the 2017 Comic-Con panel Marvel may officiallly reveal the Shang Chi casting at the Hall H panel at Comic-Con 2019. As well as the casting for the Mandarin. Information about this is revealed. I think this will be described like a “70’s episoniage Kung fu thriller.”

Doctor Strange sequel will be annouced for release in May 2021.

Thor 4 announced for sometime in late 2021 and title reveal.

Black Panther sequel officially annouced. Release date scheduled for February 2022.

Guardians Of Galaxy Vol. 3 offically annouced for May 2022 release date.

Information about the Disney Plus shows like Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Scarlett Witch and Vison and Loki.

Long shots predictions for Hall H Panel 2019 (predictions that are much less likely to happen).

Fantastic Four: Peyton Reed is brought on stage to reveal he will be directing Fantastic Four and they have a title reveal on the screen. Release date scheduled for July 2022. Marvel likely isn’t going announce anything pertaining to the FF this year as they only had access to them for just a couple of months, and there much further along the development phase for their other properties but there is a better chance of it being annouced than X-Men. Fingers crossed but I’m not holding my breath.

This is going to be super unlikely but my mind will be blown if Marvel announced a Doctor Doom spin-off before a Fantastic Four film. It’s almost certainly not going to happen but man that would be quite a shocker if it did.

Will it be weird if Doom is introduced in the MCU before the Fantastic 4 are?

I think not. Doom's background is ripe after Age of Ultron, Black Panther, Infinity War and Endgame. It's practically there waiting to be explored. Back to back chaos due to Ultron and Thanos. T'Challa as a fellow leader.

I think the info on the Disney+ shows will arrive at D23

I don't know. Black Widow footage (or is it too early for that?), Eternals cast and concept art. I'm not sure they will announce the Phase 4 slate.

my predictions:
I think SDCC will see footage and a release date for Black Widow, casting announcements for Eternals and Shang-Chi, and quite possibly a date and name for Thor 4.

D23 I think will get the big timeline showing us all the movies and shows coming down the pipe (announcements for GOTG3, DS2, BP2, CM2, and the Disney+ series) and maybe some footage from the Loki series

I predict that Marvel will show footage that no one outside of Hall H ever gets to see in good quality. A day or two later, someone on Reddit will upload potato-quality copies of the footage, which we'll all devour like starving wolves. And I further predict that this will annoy me greatly.

Give us the footage, Feige!

I’m hoping to see the entire eternals cast and some concept art. And I’ve got my fingers crossed to finish it all, a fantastic four release date announcement. Then everyone will complain because it’s so far away haha

With just a couple days left, I'm trying to get into this, but my expectations are so low, it's hard to get excited.

On one hand, this is the first Comic-Con since Marvel got the Fox rights, so that's exciting, but I have a feeling they're going to make a point of avoiding any mention of those characters.

They gotta announce something to grab my attention. Where it stands, the only confirmed Phase Four film I'm actively excited for is Doctor Strange 2.

Black Panther 2
Black Widow
Doctor Strange 2
The Eternals
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Shang-Chi
Thor 4

Fantastic Four, I think, is an a longshot. Most of the movies that Marvel will announce will be stuff that was already reported in trades for months in advance but only comment that I expect on Feige in with regards to the FF is what he’s been saying before. There won’t be an annoucement but really more of the same non-answers, “It’s nice to finally have what others have which is access to most of their characters.” He won’t be specific about the ideas they’ve discussed as it’s pretty early in the development process so things are subject to change. There hasn’t been anything solid that has been conceived yet with regards to the characters so it would be rather premature to announce a FF film.

But...I do think Marvel can surprise us. I hope they can prove me wrong.

What if their whole presentation is a victory lap for Endgame? They'll have a nostalgic re-enactment of the announcement for all the movies for phases 2 and 3, and then show clips and concept art of all the previous MCU movies. And that's the extent of their entire presentation.

Yeah, I think they probably know they'll release an FF film around 2023 - 2024, but they probably won't announce it. They have so many other projects they're working on and they want people talking about those films, not an FF film that's still far down the road.

The only motivation for them to announce FF would be to "win" Hall H, but I think they're more concerned with generating interest in the upcoming films than winning Hall H.

Think we'll ever see the supposed "Luis recaps the MCU" short that was filmed?

One of these two events would be a perfect place for it

:funny: just because they bought Fox doesn't mean they became as dumb as Fox.:oldrazz:

But I do see them using the past to lead into the future, and I think their presentation will be designed to get people saying: "Yeah!" to the cool things they've done in the past with the hope that enthusiasm blends into enthusiasm for the upcoming films.

Did that really happen? I saw bunch of people talking about how cool that would be, but I never heard they filmed anything.
