SDCC 2007- Marvel Edition.

Also, if you thought the Hulk movie was going to be good, bad news:

Hulk Grey barely redeems that comment.

Ugh...Bruce Jones' run is what kept me out of the loop on the Hulk for a long, long time. I'm not familiar with Hulk Grey, but it had better be amazing to make up for that comment. Then you add Zak Penn and his usual material to the mix...I'm just hoping they don't entirely screw this up.

Even if the plot and story suck, it's always fun to see William Hurt and Ed Norton on the big screen.

Why is it that Marvel and DC can hook up for free to play ****ing softball for charity, but can't get a crossover worked out that will make them money?

A crossover that would make them money would include the Hulk vs. Superman, Batman vs. Spider Man, and the Flash vs. Quicksilver. Suffice to say, I hope it never comes to fruition. There is enough material for the fanboys to crow over, and these crossovers almost never end well.

Oh no doubt, most of these crossovers suck ass. But I can't help but unleash the fanboy within for a Brubaker written Daredevil/Batman crossover.:csad:

Didn't Quesada mention in one of his Joe Friday's a while back that he took offense to some comment about his reign over Marvel? I'm surprised they even had a charity event.

It was the other way around. DC got mad because Joey Q called them "AOL Comics" amongst other transgressions. It's all really petty and childish in the end. Like Trump vs Rosie, at least those two *******s would make out with each other for the right price.

And now I have disturbing images of a Trump/ Rosie love child in my head...but yeah, I don't really see why both sides should be petty. These are comic books, in the end. We're just asking for some well-written stuff out of both sides when it boils down to the basics.

It was the whole AOL comics thing as well as various cracks about Batman and Superman being porn stars who can't get it up or something. Even today Quesada remains vocal about the fact that they can't do anything right with Batman in his opinion.

And I LOVED Keeping the Faith:cmad:. It was AWESOME. Now you DIE. I ate some NACHOS today.

If you just read the bold words it spells out "Loved awesome die nachos". Which is kind of funny.

Sad thing about the Superman and Batman comments is, it has a hint of truth, moreso now than back then.

That's actually a pretty good point. Lately, Marvel seems to be in Top Cow crossover mode. Which sucks. Always.

I LOVED Amalgam comics. JLA/Avengers was good, also. Marvel Vs. DC, not so much.
