I know ALOT about Kraven the hunter. I meant that Kraven doesn't have super powers without the potions, the potions make him stronger, faster and much greater reflexes but that doesn't mean he would make for a great visual experience. we need villians that put spidey through hell during battle, It just wouldn't be breath taking seeing Kraven fight spidey in a spidey movie.Regular human? Do you know anything about Kraven the hunter? Sure, he lacks the orgasmic visuals of other villains but dont sleep on the guy. By no means is he just a regular human. With the potions, serums and other crap he takes, he's bringing arms to spidey's front door like no other and I'd think that he'll actually be one of the better villains in these movies. Imagine if spidey filed to subdue the lizard and then kraven "kills" spidey and buries him and then spidey digs himself out of his grave to stop the lizard and want revenge on kraven for burying him but kraven kills himself ala kraven's last hunt, that would just be too f'n sweet.
It would be interesting but it wouldn't make spidey almost near death because of Kraven. The lizard on the other hand is a very dangerous villian, now I'm not saying Kraven isn't a sangerous villian......i'm just saying that the lizard has more of an enertaining fights with spidey but that only for the spidey movies. Kravens fights with spidey are fantastic in the comics though.Kraven fighting Spider-Man would be a dog fight, it would interest the hell out of me. Remember, not every scene has to be breathtaking or filled with CGI to please the crowd. Subtle scenes have impact too, especially with someone who is cunning, persistant and lives for the hunt, capture or kill of his prey. And if written right, even Kraven could have big breathtaking scenes with Spider-Man, he has superhuman strength and agility--and loves a freakin' challenge.
well if they actually do put Kraven in spidey4 i don't think he should have a big role, more like just a few scenes and maybe a few fights here and there but thats it. i just don't feel he is an amazing enough villian to be a villian in a spidey movie. I'm not saying Kraven is a bad villian though. And Kraven's fights on screen would be fantastic too. This why there should be a combination of The Lizard/Kraven, it's a perfect mix with Spider-Man. I would like to see Kraven first hunt The Lizard and then decides to hunt Spider-Man, maybe claiming to capture or kill them both. That's some major conflict. Mix in some of the cool ass visuals of "KRAVEN'S LAST HUNT" comic book and you've got yourself a recipe for greatness.
THE HERO, THE HUNTER, and THE BEAST!
It would be a very different Spider-Man movie, to say the least.

So I wonder where it will fall with Sandman and his wife in this film. Something in the middle maybe?
exactly, marko isn't out to do crmies just because he feels like it. he's doing it only because of his family which preety much makes sandman a sympathetic villian.I think Marko and his wife will be very close. From what Raimi said, Sandman is pulling off these robberies for his family. He just wants what's best for them.
I sense a very close family unit with them in SM-3.
Kraven is a B rate villian in the world of Spider-Man. He is not a major player and hardly deserves a few scenes, he cannot hold his own movie nor be a major bad guy with the likes of Doc Ock and Sandman.
Spidey doesn't destroy any of his villains. He's not the Punisher.
I just don't see Kraven delivering a beautiful amount of scenes. The Goblin was riding on his smoking glider throwing pumpkin bombs, Doc Ock's tentacles were going every which way, Kraven is pretty much one dimensional in terms of screen pressence. Electro or Mysterio would be beautiful on screen. But I totally agree with you on him fighting the Lizard and still protecting him from Kraven. That is why I think Kraven could be a minor character, much like that of May's role...limited but good. Shocker could be done in one scene at the beginning of the fourth movie. I just don't think Kraven is visiually stunning enough nor complex enough to hold his own movie and be a major villian. The city hires a big game hunter to rid the city of the now rampant sightings of a huge crocodile in the sewers that has been attacking workers, that man is Kraven.

Well I think throughout his criminal career, he was a b villain. During Kraven's Last Hunt, he became A-list in a sense and then killed himself.Yeah but I imagine there could still be some tension there if his wife finds out where the money is coming from.
Will Connors's family be in this one as well? Or will that be saved for another movie. I think Connor being a family man is a big part of both his character as well as the Lizard's, so I hope Raimi will get to take a crack at it.
People calling Kraven a B-villain don't know anything about Spider-man comics. You are obviously confusing him with his bastard son.
A good way to make give Kraven good visuals, is to have him using spary on potions or something that make a bunch of animals attack you. He could boobytrap his estate or something, and suddenly spider-man is taking a whole freaking zoo.
Sorry but it just doesn't seem logical in this day and age that the police and people of New York would just let a man run around trying to kill Spider-Man. Kraven is a B rate villian in the world of Spider-Man. He is not a major player and hardly deserves a few scenes, he cannot hold his own movie nor be a major bad guy with the likes of Doc Ock and Sandman. They are obviously going to have to retool Kraven to modernize him and make him more realistic...not a Tarzan running throuh NYC in leopard print pajamas. Kraven would not have an origin in any movie and should therefore be a minor character. It would be fine and dandy if they just mentioned him like they did John Jameson in SM2, something small but recognizeable to fans. My guess for the next movie remains Lizard and Electro/Scorpion/or Mysterio. It would be nice to see Peter have no where to turn to concerning his mentor Connors now being the Lizard and his boss creating Scorpion to get back at him. Also, Electro and/or Mysterio would make for some great visual effects.
