It sucks that it looks like Pitch Black but I'll take this film versus nothing at all. I can't blame them. They tried to do something fresh in 2004 and that got rejected by the masses.

My only worry about this is that its just a rehash of Pitch Black. I hope there is more to the film than that.

It looks cheap but Katee Sackhoff looks amazing! Overall I think it's limitations are clear but the ideas and tone look spot on so I'll give it a try.

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed that it just looks like a revamp of Pitch Black. I personally like Chronicles better than Black. I'll check this out if the reviews are good.

Well I don't dislike Black. It's a good monster movie, but I really loved the Space Opera feel of Chronicles. We need more space operas that aren't named Star Wars.

My only dissapointment was that this looked exactly like Pitch Black in parts, especially the creatures and the ship interiors, etc. I was hoping they would mix the best of PB and the DC of CoR to make the ultimate Riddick film.

But other than that, I did enjoy the trailer, Riddick is easily Diesal's best character by far, and it will be interesting to see how Dave Bautista does ahead of his performance as Drax in what looks like a similar role. Very good trailer, but just hope the final movie isnt a carbon copy of PB.

Universal wants franchises bad also so that's a good sign that if riddick can make money we get at least one more.

If Fast & Furious 6 makes alot(which it should given the series past) the GA should be in full Vin love mode(maybe).

I just reall love Pitch Black It's such a kick ass F*&kin movie.

Funny side story a friend of mine was telling me vin diesel was one of his favorite actors, i said hell yea I love PB and he said "never seen it" I wanted to slap the hell out of him lol

They do. The trailer just didn't focus on these bits.
