How many times did Matt come to the gaming section before he was a horrible mod?

I've just finished reading this thread, this whole thing is blown way out of proportion.

Yes the GR does deserve blame here. But to be fair, the mods deserve just as much blame. Despite what you may say, no mod took the proper amount of time to know this place and how it is. In my opinion this place needs a mod from within the Games Forum, someone who has always posted regularly and has a decent amount of respect from both the GR and non-GR posters.

Again though, I ask...why should we have to? What puts you guys on such a pedestal that it deserves a different set of rules?

I don't get it. "The GR" were hijacking thread after thread and basically making them their own personal conversation threads and mock lounge threads. That had nothing to do with the mods at all. That **** has been going on forever and was finally the reason why the recent mods came back here instead of just ignoring it. And when the mods step in and put a stop to that, that is when they start getting mad and start the old us vs. the world type talk.

I'm not saying that there has to be a different set of rules. But each forum should have a mod that knows how things go. Almost everytime the Games forum gets a mod, its someone who has no idea how the posters who regularly post there post and ends up alienating the regular posters.

We should be asking you guys that, since you seem to have a different set of rules for us than what you have for some of the other forums here.

Nobody's saying we do. The fact is that most of the mods for each forum we're taken from within that forum, allowing them to understand how each individual forum works. If anything, we're typical.

Cesar Romero discussions belong everywhere. There should probably be a thread dedicated to the man in every forum.

I understand that. But it's not that hard to stay on topic. And if you really have to go off, or really want to complain about something, I'm sure there's another forum on here you could take it to.

It's obvious that the finger is on the trigger to completely nix this section, and for people like me who use this section for what it's intended for, it's aggravating.

Cesar Romero discussions belong everywhere. There should probably be a thread dedicated to the man in every forum.

Cesar ****ing Romero once saved my life as a child. I was riding my bike next to a rough neighborhood only to be forced aside by several gang members. Fearing for my life, all I did was close my eyes and pray in the fetal position on the ground.

And then he showed up. Cesar Romero. He was magnificent. Within moments it was all over, and he vanished.
I will never forget that day.
