Goddamn, I was just watching him in Titanic last night. Godspeed, Mr. Paxton. This one hurts. :csad:

Damn RIP Bill Paxton.

Paxton added some much needed to Charisma to Agent's Of Shield when he joined as the guest villain. He signaled the shows upward trajectory into being a good show in my opinion.

I wonder what this means for Paxton's Training Day series?

Sad for his family. So young to lose their dad. Married to same woman for 30years -- impressive, especially in Hollywood.

RIP Bill. Loved him in Big Love.

Oh.., The consumate character actor. From Terminator, to Aliens, Agents of SHIELD and Edge Of Tomorrow... I dare say we all have seen him in something.

Very sad. 61 is too young to die. RIP.

This one is up there with Robin Williams.

Bill Paxton was such a permanent and highly appreciated fixture of my childhood and pop culture experience.

Weird Science
Terminator
Aliens
Predator 2
True Lies
Tombstone
Apollo 13
Frailty

I guess some could say he was one of those actors who played themselves or who's the same every role. My response? Who cares? Paxton had such a lovable and endearing personality it would've been foolish to stray from it. In fact, Paxton improved everything he was in a few notches with his magnetic and fun persona.

I guess one of the reasons this bothers me cause I know there are plenty of future films that could use a shot of Paxton. His soul shined on screen and it either warmed my heart or made me laugh in my gut.

Hail, Paxton.

The guy worked with so many people in film and you never heard about BTS nonsense.

Rip bill Paxton I remember him watching him in aliens and titanic true lies twister and tombstone. He was a great actor and will be missed.

I haven't been this broken up over an actor passing in quite some time. I can't remember anyone saying a bad thing about him, he just had the every man feel like you could go grab a beer with him.

Just makes me think of his death as Morgan in Tombstone. A very powerful scene. "Remember what I said about seeing a light when you're dying?........it aint true, I don't see a damn thing..."

Very powerful scene and such an underrated character actor. This one is going to sting for a while. He's in a better place, hopefully being extreme with Philip Seymour Hoffman chasing Tornadoes.

Interesting that he's the only actor to be killed on screen by all three of these iconic villains: the Terminator, the Predator and the Alien.

I've blocked AvP from my mind... But yes, you're right.

Bill was great in Predator 2. The whole cast was great in the film. "And The doctor says, 'I need a semen, stool and urine sample.' I say, 'Gee, doc, I'm in a big hurry, can I just leave my underwear?"

Anyone but Bill and that line just isn't as good or as greasy.

That was a depressing surprise to see in the news. I was not expecting him to be lost so soon. Complications from heart surgery they are reporting.
