Eddie Murphy’s older brother Charlie Murphy has died at the age of 57 from leukemia.

The standup comedian, who was also an actor, had been battling the blood cancer and getting treatment at the time of his death, his manager confirmed to TMZ.

Damn...RIP Charlie. He was a big part of everything I loved as a teenager. Not only was he in some of the best skits on "Chappelle's Show", but he also provided the voices of Ed Wuncler III on "The Boondocks" and Ji**y B in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas". What's sad too is his wife died of cancer eight years ago. Cancer sucks.
