…as a 90’s kid who weirdly enjoyed 50’s and 60’s nostalgia through this, BTTF, and those Batman Serials; this hits hard.

Rob was a legend on and off the screen.

No one owned tv and film like has, for over 50 years.

Jesus ****ing christ. What a just horrible, horrible weekend.

They were both stabbed to death by their son, Michael, according to this:

What a completely irresponsible headline. Just bull****. Of course he is being questioned. Let the police do the job. And any sources this early are just as irresponsible. Just as bad as Trump posting misinformation during an active mass shooting.

if it weren’t for things like Sinners, KPop Demon Hunters and Wake Up Dead Man, I’d have this whole f**king year thrown in the f**king trash bin reserved for all of the terrible things to have ever happened in all of existence.

I read about what happened to Rob Reiner and his wife just before I went to bed last night. Absolutely horrific. No one deserves that.

I loved him as Meathead on All in the Family but his filmography as a director was legendary. I grew up with The Princess Bride and Stand By Me and later went on to love Misery and This is Spinal Tap.

RIP :csad:

So, so sad to hear this. Rob Reiner directed some of my very favourite movies... Misery, Stand By Me, the absolutely legendary This Is spinal Tap... Dreadful news. RIP Rob and Michele Reiner :csad:

I can only think of a few directors who have had a run like his all in a row with Spinal Tap, Stand by Me, Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Misery and A Few Good Men.

Hell, he put “bucket list” in our vernacular!

What a completely tragic end for him and his wife.

Confirmation (via BBC) that son Nick Reiner has been formally arrested and is in custody.

Saw the news about 2 bodies found, but woke up to it being confirmed to be Reiner and his wife. :(

As if what happened to the Reiners wasn't enough, now this:

Tony Geary was a fascinating man and a brilliant actor.

Such a blow to daytime and yet another big loss for GH this year.

RIP Rob.

I can't imagine the horror of being murdered by your own child.

So sad.
