In a different universe, I believe Leto would have made an excellent Joker. Something more in the vein of Grant Morrison. But man, Ayer's interpretation of the character effectively killed any interest I had in seeing Leto come back. I just want him to go away forever. It was THAT bad.Not to be on the “against this casting” train, I’m on board with this 100%. But there are many saying that people are usually wrong about casting choices. That’s not always true. Nobody wanted Jesse Eisenberg as Luthor they were right. Everyone wanted Jared Leto as the Joker and they were wrong. Nobody can predict anything. All you can do is remain hopeful or skeptical. No more, no less. As long as you don’t do anything dumb, like do a petition.
But that's fine, because now I can spam Caleb Landry-Jones' name until Reeves gives me what I want.
