Robin Hood

It looks like Russell Crowe in a leotard playing Robin Hood. They couldn't at least have blondied his ass up or had him shave or something, man?

Why would he be blond or clean shaven ? and that attire doesn't look like tights at all.

I'm used to the Errol Flynn/Kev Costner look I guess.

Clean shaven, man. Crowe looks too much like Crowe to me, that's all that is. That's my own problem with it.

Looks good. Will Crowe speak in an English accent?

How else is he supposed to look? He's an actor not The Chameleon.

Well, if they really want to try and make it realistic, then he shouldn't be clean shaven.

I see a beard, or at least a five o'clock shadow.

Cool pic...I just hope the sheriff is still in the film in some capacity.

People are complaining about his facial hair?

My God, it's facial hair for Christ's sake.

If Russel Crowe died his hair blonde and was clean shaven he would still be Russel Crowe.

would he ? :hehe:

Hasn't Robin Hood always been portrayed with facial hair in film?

Ive had mixed feelings about this whole thing since it was announced but it's Ridley Scott so...
Im actually coming around to the idea of the older cast and really liking it personally.
Crowe looks great!

At the very least, I hope this film re-establishes Crowe as an A-lister. I know he's done some lousy sh** in his personal life, but I still think that he's a great actor who (like Tom Cruise and others) has become a bit of a media pariah. Is it his own fault? Yeah, to some extent, but he's still a talented guy and I'd rathers see Crowe in multiple films rather than idiots like Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell who seem to put out a movie every five minutes.

God, seeing Costner in that suit gives me nightmares.

It's looking good. I love Ridley Scott's film, and if this can capture the same balance of fun/cerebral that Gladiator did it should be great.

The picture grows on me the more i see it, I am looking forward to this and i have faith in Scott and Crowe.(and everyone else of course)
