I've never liked the Iceman/Rogue relationship , I'm a lover for the exploding chemistry of Gambit/Rogue (as unhealthy as it was ).

HOWEVER, after giving them a small chance, I think Bobby is perfect for Rogue in the movieverse.

Bobby is pretty close to being a *perfect man* that I've ever seen (imagine foregoing intimate relations just to be with Rogue). He's patient, supportive, sweet, and obnoxiously good, and with all of Rogue's insecurities I think Bobby is best equipped to make her happy.

Look at how Rogue reacted with Bobby and Kitty, now imagine what Gambit would be like! Movieverse Rogue is of a fragile state of mind, and Gambit would either break her heart or simply traumatize her.

Anyway, if Rogue gets some backbone (I mean that with the all the hero worship in me for her), then I think she can take on Gambit.

Like I say they are perfect for each other in the movies....
In the Cartoons Gaqmbit and Rogue belong to each other...
But Movie Rogue is so much different than Cartoon Rogue...
And Iceman... well let's say I never saw a 90's cartoon with Iceman in it

I still think they have no chemistry,yeah their fine for a teen thing-but rogue isn't emotionally stunted anymore and their relationship just isn't going to work long term.Cause the thing with rogue is(even the movie rogue,evidenced by her flirting with wolvy) she would if she could and now she can and I just can't see bobby being able to keep her interested forever.

Oh yeah, thats just what the franchise needs. Another mysterious guy with a dark past. How fresh and new it would be! Seriously though, I think one of the biggest reason's Gambit was never in the films was because he is so similar to Wolverine.
