    Happy Independence Day, Guest!

Robot Chicken, anybody?

I may be the only one, but I think 15 minutes was just enough for the episode. Had it gone for a full 30, it would definitely be on the same horrible level as Super Milk Chan. The premiere episode was starting to cut it close, though. Robot Chicken did have it's moments where it was funny, but it had more non-funny moments than it did funny.

I'll give it another few episodes before I decide whether I will continue watching or not.

Really? Cause i was pretty much laughing the entire time, same with my friends who I was watching it with.

Just wait for the episode with Jesus as "The Bride" from Kill Bill exacting his revenge. It shall be CLASSIC

The Transformers prostate was the funniest thing I have seen in ages, his transformation into the coffin was gold.

I keep picturing it in my head and laughing all over again:D

Really. It's one of those shows that strikes as trying too hard to be funny at times. I mean, I laughed probably once total during the Transformers thing, three or four during the bloopers, and twice between the beginning and Transformers.

It's like I said, I never give up on a show after one episode. Often these days, pilot episodes tend to suck more than the second or third episodes. So I'm willing to give it another few episodes.

Well, apparantly a lot of other people liked it, so I suppose it's a matter of taste and opinion. Though, if you're being so anal as to count exactly whena nd how many times you laughed, perhaps you're thinking too hard.

It is a matter of taste and opinion. That's exactly why I've been so honest about my thoughts on Robot Chicken. And I suppose if being specific in my criticism and thoughts, then mayhaps I am thinking too hard.

I'm not here trying to steer people away from watching this show. I even have faith that it may get better with a few episodes, but just am not feeling it after seeing the pilot episode. As mentioned already, pilot episodes are usually far worse than the second or third episodes.

I watched it Sunday night, and I thought it was absolutley hilarious. :D From the Scarecrow being stabbed in prison, to Optimus Prime suffering from prostate cancer, it was just pure insanity.

So, who else seen it?

Human Torch: "It hurts when I pee..."

Optimus Prime: "SEE WHAT I TOLD YOU!"

I only catched the end, but the Star Trek bit got me rolling on the floor laughing until tears leaked out. :D

they actually had a website where he'd do these skits with the toys...My fav is the Real World Superfriends

Could someone link me to those? :)

In addition to this, they really should do a twisted toyfare theater series.

someone said on one of the other topics about this that the guys that write toyfare write this as well, not sure if it's true though......

I loved the outtakes from Battlestar Galactica, and Optimus Prime having prostate cancer was top notch.

Sounds like something they might make just for employees since it's named after a programming block, and not a particular show.

It's true...I recall there being a McCallum(sp?) as being a writer for Twisted Toyfare Theatre.

Seth Green used to put up little cartoons like that at Screenblast.com.....it was a Sony site which is why Sony produces the show.....some of the stuff was hilarious
