Rocky 6

Rocky is getting his third video game from Ubi Soft... it's exclusive to the PSP and it's titled, yup, Rocky Balboa.

Once again you can play through Rocky's entire career, except now it includes the story from the sixth film.

I'm not thrilled either. I LOVED "Rocky Legends" and I really don't want to miss the sequel... and I don't own a PSP, of course...

I can't wait for the new Rocky film, it seems like its going back to the formula that made the first 2 movies classics[and the last 3 were pretty cool].

I haven't read any spoilers or watched any clips that are available online. I am going into this film complete spoiler free. :yay:

I like all of the Rocky films - all except the 5th film.

The 5th was kinda ... eh ok.

This 6th film certainly has my attention and yeah Wednesday cant seem to get here soon enough!

Thats amazing that Rockys gloves from the first film are now in the Smithsonian.

Trailers for this 6th film are very very inspiring!

Whew.... I almost sold my PSP a couple of months ago, but I just knew the second I sold it something would come along that I'd want really bad. Looks like it'll stop collecting dust pretty soon.

You know what though Catman, Rocky IV is such a guilty pleasure. It's so over the top, it's brilliant. Entertainment value is like 37 out of 10. And I'm kind of sad I won't see those 5 minute training montages anymore

But look at Stallone train in Rocky Balboa. ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY

Thats cool. :wow:

I was so disappointed that they never added Vince DiCola's score to the end of Rob Tepper's "Heart's On Fire." There are only crappy bootlegs of the end credits, but that sequence is beyond awesome! It's up there along with the Rocky II "Going The Distance/Gonna Fly Now" sequence as the best training sequence in Rocky history.

This is how I rank Rocky films:

Rocky = The Best
Rocky II = Best boxing sequence
Rocky III = Most fun
Rocky IV = The funniest one
Rocky V = The crappy one
Rocky Balboa = Tomorrow we shall see :)

Is it on YouTube or something

Yeah, and Kritish has accomplished SO MUCH with his/her life.

After seeing Rocky Balboa already, this is how I rank them:

Rocky - best film
Rocky III - best comeback and training sequence
Rocky II - great fight.
Rocky Balboa - most emotional story.
Rocky IV - fun film.
Rocky V - had parts, but overall disappointing.

Short review -

Rocky himself :

Brain damage ended up not being permanent, has some truly great moments and "speeches" within the film. Rocky still has that good hearted charm.

Robert (Rocky Jr.) - Has some struggles, and it's a good added plotline to what he's going through with having Rocky as his father. Rocky sets him straight though, and it's one of my favorite parts of the film.

Uncle Paulie - Always good - cuts right to it, doesn't have time to BS around. Shows some great emotion when Adrian is mentioned and I truly felt for him.

Mason Dixon - probably one of the things that could have been better - he doesn't have the attitude of Apollo, the nastiness of Clubber, or the hatred you had for Drago. He's just another fighter that's not getting any respect. You don't really hate him. Him and Rocky have some good dialogue before the fight though.

Little Marie - Good stuff here - I like how Stallone brought this character back. Rocky also teaches his son some things and definitely teaches her as well - especially when she asks him "Why are you helping me?"

Spider Rico - not a lot, but there's some comedy here and he's with Rocky before the fight.

Flashbacks - some great ones.

Training sequence - Good stuff with the Bill Conti score, but I would have liked it to have a bit more.

The Fight - truly some realistic stuff going on. Could have been longer though.

Overall, it's a great send-off and a realistic ending.

I saw as well...loved it...great movie. Sly now has me peaked for Rambo now. Also at the movies where I saw Rock I won a Rambo special edition box set. It was good to see Roc on the big screen again. Going to see again this weekend.

One thing though it would have been nice if he metion Tommy...

And Mason wouldn't be able to handle Creed, Lang or Ivan...he was a ****ty boxer.
