SAW THE FILM LAST NIGHT - it's a good send-off for the character and has some good emotional moments in the film. I will say Adrian not being there caused a pretty big hole, and Little Marie tried to fill it, but couldn't quite do it. Rocky has a spectacular "discussion" with his son in the film which I thought was great. If you're a true Rocky fan, you'll enjoy a lot of moments in the film, that's for sure. I'll have a full review up later today.
I got to meet Sly himself as well as Emanuel Steward and Tommy Hearns. The reason why it was in Detroit was to save the famous KRONK GYM, which is an institution here and was founded by Emanuel. Stallone talked before the film, Emanuel gave him a personal Kronk Gym leather jacket, and Tommy Hearns even talked about his fights and him coming out to the ring with the Rocky music playing and how it inspired him. I'll try to have some pics up as soon as I can.
