Rocky 6

That's what makes the fight so awesome. He's fighting to protect his family and to exact justice on someone who's lost his way - he's not fighting to "win a title," or to prove something... he's fighting for what's RIGHT.

I like Rocky 5 myself...not the best but I still like it.

SAW THE FILM LAST NIGHT - it's a good send-off for the character and has some good emotional moments in the film. I will say Adrian not being there caused a pretty big hole, and Little Marie tried to fill it, but couldn't quite do it. Rocky has a spectacular "discussion" with his son in the film which I thought was great. If you're a true Rocky fan, you'll enjoy a lot of moments in the film, that's for sure. I'll have a full review up later today.

I got to meet Sly himself as well as Emanuel Steward and Tommy Hearns. The reason why it was in Detroit was to save the famous KRONK GYM, which is an institution here and was founded by Emanuel. Stallone talked before the film, Emanuel gave him a personal Kronk Gym leather jacket, and Tommy Hearns even talked about his fights and him coming out to the ring with the Rocky music playing and how it inspired him. I'll try to have some pics up as soon as I can.

Our own local newscaster, Diana Lewis, was re-united with Sylvester Stallone. She was in the first film as well as the fifth film - you might recognize her here:

sure, it wasnt as good as the others

but the end fight is still awesome!

at least he kicks tommy morrison's arse a good few years before ray mercer did! lol!

and dont forget the pumpin music of Snap's "keep it up",

probably the best use of the eye of the tiger sample ever !

even today, that song still sounds bloody good! keep it up!

No way...the rap songs seems just soo..horribly placed in that movie... I just don't picture Rap when thinking of rocky...

Apparently, the movie opens in Argentina on March 1st, the same day as Ghost Rider, damn it! :cmad:

EDIT: Did you check the cool wallpapers on rocky.com?

^Very nice. Can't wait to see the film for a second time. Been really busy this week at work, I'll definitely have a full review up before the weekend is over.

Have to agree with you there.

I believe so.

Alot of the songs in Rocky V were pretty much rap exclusive. Excluding Elton John's "Measure of a Man" of course. Which played over the ending credits I think.

Don't forget that Rocky 5 came out in 1990 right in the mist of rap music (like MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice :whatever:) so it was natural to include at least one rap song.

USA Gets this in 7 days :( Why in the uk do we have to wait Untill January? :( its not fair for gods sake. MGM I want christmas damnit, just like the US :(

why do i have the feeling he dies in this movie?

:(

Rocky is getting his third video game from Ubi Soft... it's exclusive to the PSP and it's titled, yup, Rocky Balboa.

Once again you can play through Rocky's entire career, except now it includes the story from the sixth film.
