Indeed! Its pretty dumb dusting off a movie and have a poop ending, its like Indiana Jones not finding anything after 2 hours, and he better god dam find something LUCAS! OR I`ll KILL YOU!!

I laughed when I first heard about 60 year old Sly Stallone doing another Rocky but the trailer actually makes it look like a fun movie. I really love his line, "Na, I think that's from the 70's." I also like how they're turning him into a George Foreman type.

Well this is fitting and that is why I think this movie will work because the original Rocky was based on the Ali-Wepner fight and this one apparently is based on the Foreman/Moorer one.

Yep. They're going for a more realistic feel. Something very close to what we watch on today's PPV fights.

And people will be angry!

On another forum people were commenting how funny it would be for Rocky to last 'til the last round and on the final seconds of the fight he purposely headbutts Dixon, gets disqualified and talks to a TV camera saying: "I bet you didn't expect that, did you?". End of the film.

I went to IMBD and found her... it said (archive footage) next to her... don't spoil it but is it a flashback... did the actress that played her die... or are they gonna use CGI or some sh:t.

him winning the fight was a bit much, he wanted it to be realistic as well. When you think about it, it's full circle since he went the distance in the first film and lost the match.

I hope this does for Sly what First Blood and Cliffhanger did for his other comebacks.I hope he gets back on top and does even better things.Like hopefully he'll get Robert Downey jr or Johnny Depp for poe like rumored.I hope Rambo 4 is huge and maybe do the Biggie smalls flick(which in the urban community is big news)and even Tarantinos Inglorious Bastards.

Ahh, took the words right out of my mouth. I do remember awhile back there was a reviewer on AICN who saw a roughcut and said the final scene gave him goosebumps, but he didn't want to reveal what it was.

Considering the Rocky V movie going experience left MUCH to be desired, you'd have to think there must be some pressure for the audience to leave on an upbeat or positive note.

Been a Stallone fan all of my life. I don't know what it is about him but he's always been very charismatic in my opinion.

Unfortunately, I'm the only one I know that's looking forward to this movie.

I can't wait. Looks like it has the makings to pull on the ol' heart strings as well as kindle that burning desire in each of us to keep doing what we do even if everyone else thinks it's not worth it.

Milkman, thanks for the thread. I'll be enjoying this one all the way to Christmas time!

BTW I think Rambo starts filming soon.
