Here's a comic strip I'm working on with a guy who approached me for hire & to co-create. He wants to accumulate enough to put out a trade. I like doing strips because they're fairly easy and quick to produce-especially when I have other pressing projects that I'm working on. Here's a sample sans the profanity-laced dialogue.

Man. I don't peticularly care for supergirl. I don't go out of my way to read books she's in. But she is one of my all time favorite characters to draw. This is stunning rogue. seems a bit *ahem* grown up for supergirl. Maybe she should start going by superwoman.

This must be a New York thing because I feel exactly the same as you when it comes to Supergirl. I don't dislike her but I don't go out of my way to read her in much either. That being said, I always feel compelled to draw her whenever I start sketching out a random female. She really is a fun character to draw.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it thus far. I don't want to ink really it so I'll look for someone really good to bring it out and make it nice & crisp.

LOL. Please forgive me, Sync. I got you mixed up with Lobo. He's the NY guy; something we both have in common even though I'm not residing there at the moment. I forgot that you're Canadian.

Mostly love it. My only crit is you should strengthen the shadow under the nose as it appears to slope down like a beak.

Otherwise awesome. Love the tension, emotion, and anticipation this piece exudes.

It varies really because I get all sorts of requests outside the realm of standard prices which have to be factored in.

Had a friend of mine take a stab at coloring that GL/Sinestro scribble I did not long ago...

I think that he did a really good job on it for what he had to work with.

Just by happenstance a couple of weeks ago, I met a guy at the art store and found out that he was an aspiring inker. Well I sent him a copy of the Supergirl pic I posted previously and he took a stab at it.

Damn good job from what I gave him. Hope you all like.
