RogueDK's art dump

Working on my own graphic novel at the moment, when I'm not doing commissions that is.

This sketch will probably be my inside jacket/credits page or maybe just a pinup. I'll just have to see...

I'll get it inked and everything digitally colored once I've finished the bulk of the page work. That's going to be the hard part.

Lovin it. What's the novel about???

I've decided to make this pic I posted previously my contents page so naturally I made a few adjustments to her. Just call it plastic surgery. Sex sells you know. :hehe:

wow, what surgeon did she use, I'm looking to get my boobs done.lol great piece by the way.:)

Thanks, guys...or uh, perhaps I should say: "girl" since the boob job has inspired you, B-Man. :woot:

Nice. I dig it.

I personally liked the more realistic look of the original drawing more.

I agree I think the original is better. I think the changes went a little to far. Maybe tone it to somewhere in the middle.

Well everyone does have a preference :hehe:.

That pic is pretty much no more than a contents or pinup page at this point (it's not really vital now) and also one of about three of the same poses with different alterations done to her. I haven't even committed to finishing either of them just yet; still drawing different contents ideas inbetween doing my panelled pages.

Of the two I've posted thus far, I happen to like something in both of them so I'd be pretty happy either way.

But thanks for your visit and reactions. :yay:

I usually rough out three or four pages at a time and work on each one a little at a time as I go. Just finished sharpening some of the rough sketch on this page.

I'll have them smoothed out by the time I send them to my inker though...

Looks sweet, digging the shading on the blokes face and shirt.:)

Been busy trying to work out the pages for my graphic novel. Here are a couple of cellshots of the artwork that I worked on last night and thought I'd share them with the members here:

Not really clear but I hope you like them anyway. Thanks for looking.:cwink:

Very nice. Love the angles and tension

I was gonna say the same thing. The detail really makes each panel incredibly immersive.
Thank you, B-Man, KAD & keith. :yay:

Yeah, readers aren't dumb; if you really want to pitch something to them that they won't mind spending their hard earned dollars on, you have to really put alot of heart in your panels and at least show the effort.

Sometimes going the extra mile can be taken for granted by the usual page turner but it's always worth it when someone actually takes the time to really soak in each panel and see what you're trying to do.

Amazing work as always. I will have to keep checking in to see your progress.
