The article mentions rose bryne will return as Moira Mactaggert.

And so far the films inless they need to cast younger actor has mostly avoided
recasting major roles in films.

It would be weird if they hire someone else. Rose Byrne is a rising movie star! She has more high profiled films than James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult and probably Michael Fassbender since First Class came out.

Kinberg confirmed it in the article. It"s definite.

“She’s a significant character in the movie,” says Apocalypse writer Simon Kinberg, returning to the franchise after Days of Future Past. “We ended First Class with Charles having wiped portions of her memory of her experience with the X-Men. They are, essentially, strangers to her when she meets them.” Apocalypse is set in the early ’80s, roughly 20 years after First Class, and Kinberg is mum about how she ties into the film. But expect to see further developments in her interaction with Professor Xavier. “It’s certainly a rich relationship that we started to dig into in First Class, and would like to mine more in this one,” teases Kinberg.

Me too. I was kind of disappointed that she was excluded from DoFP, and I took that to mean she was done with the franchise for good. So, it's nice to know that she'll be coming back. Kinberg and Singer are assembling one helluva cast!

YEEEEES !!! I LOVE Rose Byrne and she was really good as Moira in First Class.

I was a little bit disappointed not to see her in DOFP and for some reason I assumed that she was never gonna come back. I'm pleasantly surprised !
