Hmm. I've actually never really seen it in that perspective. But yeah, I guess I can see your point.

I personally always have fears when going to look at the first reviews coming in on rotten. I honestly don't want to. Yet still, I just_can't_help NOT to look either! I gotta know! What's the buzz on it? I remember how quickly and how rapidly Man Of Steel went down hill on that damn tomato-meter. That actually wasn't fun to see, before watching the film one self. I so desperately hope that ASM2 will do great.

If there was some guarantee that the movie would be GREAT, then I could wait 5 years if I had to.

But otherwise, its the audience reviews that I care about much more than anything else as far as online ratings go.

Well, the curtains for the first film is drawn at 18:00 P.M. So I think TASM2 comes on somewhere around 20:30 (with the break between the films included)

i took timezones into consideration. i actually asked you a page or so back but you must have missed it.

denmark is around 10 hours behind adelaide, and im seeing spider-man at 12:01 am on the 17th, so yeah, that would be about 2pm where you are.

Teekay still gets to see it before anyone else here. If my sister manages to get preview passes, then I will emerge victorious, but she has no sony contacts, unfortunately.

I just hope the movie has me all pumped up after seeing it, making it impossible for me not to go straight home and write down a review. In which case I couldn't wait to get my thoughts out there I do however plan on writing down nothing more or less than the truth, without overdoing anything. I just reaaally need this movie to be awesome, ya know...

there's nothing worse than seeing a movie you are hyped for, only for it to be a letdown, and then have to come on here and break the bad news to your fellow hypsters.

^ Yup. I've never felt more let down over movies before, than right after seeing "Spiderman 3" and "Man of Steel"... We really need Amazing Spidey 2 to be great! And it has so much potential.

Though if a movie is getting terrible reviews and you come back talking about how much you liked it… that makes things a little bit easier.

However I remember when RIM came on, compared TASM1 with Green Lantern, and left. Oh boy did that create chaos here.

While I understand people here were sort of going crazy, he should have at least explained why he thought it was worthy of a Green Lantern comparison (which was really harsh IMO). But oh well, that's in the past now.

Australia is ahead of majority of places in terms of timezone, so it will be early morning on the 16th where you are.

You know, I'm honestly not sure. I've only watched a portion of it once at a party but that's it. Maybe somewhere smack in the middle when most viewers have been given enough time to get ready.
