Let's get back on topic.

What are the chances this movie could end up in the 40s?

I don't think it's likely. It's held the avg rating of 6.1 for quite a while and most negative reviews are more luke warm/dissapointed than angry about it. I think mid 50s would be the lowest it could drop.

Yeah, that's probably more likely the outcome we'll have, somewhere in the mid-50s.

I love MobieBob's reviews but that was the most disturbing review I've ever come across. :funny:

You know the Plinkett reviews for the SW prequels?

Think bigger...just not as long lol.

Agreed. It's not really behaving like a film that's going to fall into the 40's.
I don't know if this should feel me with confidence in my opinion or not. After all, you thought it was going to fluctuate in the 70s. :o

Was it bad? Lol

Just listening to it made me feel like this:

Disagree if you like, but how can you call it a bullcrap review?

I'm too tired to go into now but basically he trashes not one but two movies and points out no redeeming features (well, web swinging) trashes Garfield when he is the best Spider-Man by miles, mentions none of the performances, none of the movie's striking look, just bash bash bash. ****ing **** review and I'm going to make it a point to never view another of this reviews ever again.

Some people care way too much about other peoples opinions.

I didn't agree with much of what he said but it was well presented! And actually quite funny, don't understand why he thinks what he does but it was really entertaining in a really sadistic way!

I'd still suggest to people to see the film as people like Myself consider it a solid 8/10, but others see it as a 4/10. I think it'd be a huge shame if you missed out on a movie you loved because others gave it bad reviews.

I'm at peace with this now, clearly it's a bad film to most, but it had a strong emotional impact on me, treated all the characters well and portrayed spider-man the best we've ever seen him. I love AG and ES in this movie, DeHaan was great, there was so much I loved about it.

Even if this movie bombs down to 20% and makes $4 in the US, it doesn't matter to me, I enjoyed it, and after repeat viewings, other people's opinions and the death of MovieBob as a reviewer, it still hasn't changed my opinion.

Since the movie is polarising, it really should be in the 50's as that represents the reception of the film, the quality however, is for you to decide.

I think the one thing we can all agree on though is we hope the next movie saves the franchise for everyone! We can only hope right?

I don't know much about Movie Bob. But I'm guessing most of his reviews aren't as negative as this one.
