Am I the only one still wondering how the hell can Carter end up shooting Lee's chick in the neck. I hope they explain this in the commentary.

^Probably messing around with his gun and acting stupid, and it went off.

If that were the case, I don't think I'd ever talk to the ******* again, so I hope Lee isn't THAT big of a glutton for punishment.

I assumed there was some kind of action involved, she got in the way of his line of fire, he's too keyed up to stop himself from pulling the trigger.

fair enough...

the movie really does suck, though... like, really, really hard.
You're over doing it. it wasnt even close to being that bad. Maybe it wasnt your humor, but you're kind of reaching now. I suppose you dont like Friday or Money Talks either?

If you liked either of the first two, it's worth seeing. It's got the superior writing/characterization of the first one combined with the better action/comedy of the second to meet somewhere in the middle.

im sick of people saying that. i love rush hour 1 and 2 but this is nowhere nearly as funny as them there was more action than comedy this time, and the action wasnt even as good as the previous two. chris tucker was still funny, but he didnt really get to do as much as before comedy as before, and this one felt way more cliched.

You really think so? I think both of the sequels had Tucker doing more comedy than the first time. In the first one he's actually a halfway believable cop, which pretty much went out the window promptly in 2.

I think that too. I would of liked to see the Tucker cop from the first film.

Yeah, I agree there was more action rather than comedy. Still a decent movie.

Really? I thought it had more humor that action. I wish the Lee and Kenji fight was bigger and longer.

I was really hoping this movie would have taken place in new york.:csad: I wanted to see there wacky adventure there.

I wish Jackie Chan hadn't suddenly disappeared halfway into the fight, replaced by an apparent double doing the exact same stuff we already saw the real guy do.

i wish that the whole taxi driver subplot didnt exist.

Aw hell no. That was the funniest bit in the movie. Although the cliche ending with him was pretty silly. Then again, this entire franchise is a living, breathing "silly cliche," so maybe that's not really fair to point out.

no some of the things he said were so predictable and i knew that ending was comin. i did laugh at something he said, but i cant remember it lol

I just got out of seeing it.

As a fan of the first 2 films, I must say that I enjoyed part 3 very much. Decent action and very funny. Pretty much on par with RH 1 & 2, no better, no worse.

8/10

Although, I do have 2 gripes.

1) I don't like how the movie just ended...it was so damn abrupt!

2) I also didn't like the explaination they gave for Isabella...shot in the neck? Working at a mexican restaurant? C'mon guys...that was lame.

Rush Hour 3 has been hanging in there surprisingly well the past couple of weekends... this weekend it's reached $120 million with only a 27% drop, and that's NOT accounting for Monday.

Maybe it'll reach the magic point of being considered "successful" after all. But I have to wonder how long before it becomes truly, genuinely "profitable."

It's not going to be profitable anytime soon since 35% of whatever it makes has to go directly to Tucker and Chan.

So what's 35% of $120 million? The movie still hasn't broken even yet.

Saw it finally last night and was fairly pleased.

I heard negative reviews so I wasn't expecting much but I liked it a lot.

It may do some profit on dvd.

Probably, but probably not the profit that New Line shelled out **** loads on this movie for. Not really doing very well overseas either.

Yeah, that's why I figure it's got a long road ahead. But most studios will label anything that reaches its production budget in domestric gross as a success. So if they get this thing up to $140 million, they might still crow about it.

I don't care if this is the last one enough of the money talk already! :cmad:

This movie was AWESOME!
