Didn't like it as much as the other two. I just didn't feel epic to me. Brett Ratner IMO remains a horrible director. I think him working on big budget summer movies has gotten into his head and made quality go out.

^yeah this kind of came and went . i thought jackie and tucker did a good job together . tucker was funny . the eifel tower sequence was really good .
i heard that numerous people turned this down and both steven segal and jean claude van damme were at one point in consideration . that would of been interesting

Yeah, that's why I figure it's got a long road ahead. But most studios will label anything that reaches its production budget in domestric gross as a success. So if they get this thing up to $140 million, they might still crow about it.
I doubt New Line is doing backflips over this movie.

They waited too long and paid too much money for it. The tragic thing is that it's delay caused Ratner to do X-men 3. That's where it really hurt. So in that respect I hate this movie more.

Ratner himself, comes off as rather pompous and egotistical in some of his interviews and commentary, like he's up their with the all time great directors or something. I kind of don't appreciate that.

I'm glad they're using poster art and I'll be curious to hear about the specs. But what, no "Trilogy Box Set"?

When is the trilogy set coming out,I don't want to buy this and then it comes out.

God I hope they stop here. There was very little to chew on in this sequel.... really empty and void. The only thing remotely funny was the nun scene, but even then there was just so little in the way of story or action.....real letdown imo.

I say run it into the ground until Tucker is as fat as 1977 Elvis and Chan looks bored. Just so it makes the series easier to rate.

lol@ anyone who liked this movie and I was a fan of the first and early Chris Tucker....MAJOR fan.

Not seen it yet.
...was at the flicks for all of about two weeks in the UK.

I gave it a 7. There seemed the chemistry between Chan and Tucker seemed lost. There were parts of the script that were weak. IMO it didn't meet my expectations.

Just saw it tonight, I am not gonna lie, i found it the most enjoyable of the 3. :woot:

Yeah, I had a good time just chilling and enjoying the silly ass humour and found the little story and the setting more fun, plus the action was more varied i felt.

That's cool man. I found it better then Rush Hour 2 but nothing tops the original for me. :woot:

I love Jackie...but this was one of the worst movies I saw last year.

I look at it this way. Rush Hour is the better made film of the trilogy. Rush Hour 2 is the funniest film of the trilogy. Rush Hour 3 falls something below those. I don't know how I really feel. I need to watch it again.

The plot was horrible IMO. I know this is supposed to be an action/comedy, but it seemed like the movie was trying to be WAY too funny. The fight scenes at the end were ok. I'll have to watch it again as well sometime.

Sort of like the X-Men trilogy.

Not at all like X-Men... the main plot they had for X3 was so great it could've been the best comic book movie of our time, they made it one of the worst. Rush Hour 3 was still good, just not the best IMO.
