Tough Guys, a new action comedy for
Amazon MGM Studios, sources tell Deadline.
Reps for Amazon MGM declined to comment.
Originating as a spec from writer Daniel Gold, the story follows two henchmen who are tired of being disposable and break free from the criminal underworld, rewriting the rules as they build a new life on their own terms.
We’re told Gosling and Jessie Henderson are in talks produce through Open Invite Entertainment, which has a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios. Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum are in talks to produce for Gloria Sanchez Productions, with Trevor Engelson and Aaron Folbe in talks to exec produce for Underground. No word yet on who’s directing
