Ryan Reynolds "actively" working on Deadpool spinoff

Why do people even bother going to Rob Liefield? Fabian Nicieza did it all. He should be the one having meetings about Deadpool.

I would agree.

But Liefeld is enthusiastic about the character. Probably because he's one of the only ones who is still popular to this day :D

I just think it's good that they are conversing with someone with previous knowledge of the source material.

And to give Liefeld credit, he was the one who came up with the idea of Pool having cancer and going to extreme lengths to cure it, and coming out the other side completely ****ed up. Nicieza, Kelly and co elaborated on it and made Pool the crazy merc we love today. But Liefeld came up with the original idea.

Me neither

Yes.

Keep it small. Besides, he's just a ninja/shooter/crazy whackjob :hehe: no need of big huge explosions, crazy fx and all that.

Yea, literally the only CGI needed would be for his healing factor. That shouldn't cost too much.

A Few interesting posts about the movie......

I may or may have not seen some sort of test of footage that would blow your mind if you saw it and go holy crap and that's Deadpool in costume. Katana swords, guns, shooting people’s faces off and making me laugh. And I may or may not have seen something that looks just like that. And you've got what would amount to the first R Rated X-Men movie. Because that script is R Rated.

Rob Liefeld brings back some painful memories of my early Image comic collecting days, Youngblood. >_<

But we should all be eternally grateful for the creation of Deadpool, that much at least is a given. I'd give my right leg to see the 8 minute movie.
